I got a copy of this album from my stepbrother. We both play guitar and he is a metal fan. He'd gotten from a friend and neither liked it. It was "too heavy and demonic." So I took it home, gave it several listens, and a couple of weeks later, saw my brother again. I asked why he didn't like it, he gave me the answer above. I said, "You realize this is a Christian album, right?" He didn't, but still didn't like it. Personally, it's one of my favorite albums of all time!!!

All his albums sound like a Christian album made by secular bands. This one, obviously influenced by Danzig... The newest one "Songs For The Ritually Abused" (which is an awesome album) sounds like if Queens Of The Stone Age did a christian album. I'm not knocking it, it's just something I noticed.
I don't mind it sounding like Danzig.
