  • In this vid, I am going to show you how to replace the crankshaft, bearings and seals. They are fairly similar across the line for the Japanese manufacturers, small bore to big bore 2-strokes.     I would really need to take my time, and the right tools for the job. Done tops ends. Fixed cars. Just looks a bit much putting it back together....

    How's it hold up? Heard a lot of negative reviews on wiesco cranks being made with plastic and tin.

      I sold the bike a while back so I have no longevity updates for you but it was a Hot Rods crank. Wiseco used to be a quality aftermarket replacement.

    I’m almost finished with the process got everything taken apart except for the magneto off, I’m waiting on that tool now

      @@spencerboddie8582 that’s great news. You’re welcome. Make sure you use a good synthetic 2 cycle oil mixed to 32:1 and you will never smoke another crank.

    Is this process the same as a 2002 cr125r? I already bought the hotrods crank kit.

      While there may be some minor differences in specs between the pistons and cylinders, the procedure remains the same
