  • Imagine a place in far-off China where warriors aren't just strong in body, but in mind. The Shaolin Temple isn't just a school for martial arts; it's a sanctuary of ancient wisdom. It is also famous for its association with the Indian monk Bodhidharma, who is also known as the founder of Shaolin.
The Shaolin monks aren't just famous for their Kung Fu; they're known for their powerful mindset. Inspired by their legend, the author sets out on a journey to learn from them. The teachings of Shaolin are not about fighting. The Shaolin monks understand that through their minds they have control over themselves and their surroundings and that it is the mind alone that allows them to succeed.
They've distilled their wisdom into 13 powerful principles, like mindfulness, resoluteness, yielding, detachment and staying calm. The author has provided easy explanations, motivational quotes, and questions to understand your thought process.
By following their ancient teachings, you'll learn the monks' greatest secret: the ultimate success is learning to fight so well that you do not need to fight at all.
The rapid pace of life and constant global changes make most of us live on the fight-or-flight response. Go for this book if you want a good breakdown of how to stop reacting to unfavourable circumstances or circumstances that fire you up.
So, if you're tired of always being on the defensive, take a journey with this book. Learn from the masters how to win the battle before it even begins. Sometimes, the best move is to let go and find peace within yourself. Must be like what grand master Oogway preached 😉

I really appreciate your review but explaining the content as it is decreases the charm of reading a new book rather it's better to explain the points in more thematic manner while covering the same point.

Your video is so boring that it is very much obvious you don't have a way/strategy to explain what you're trying to say about the book... It is like you're talking to yourself most of the time....
