i have been watching these research design & methods videos all morning. what a great resource! i plan to incorporate them into professional development resources for anthropologists, old and young, because i think these make a great lesson/refresher. very clear and to-the-point with solid examples. thank you.

Thanks, professor, we are eternally grateful to you. Your teaching is enjoyable, clear and very informative. You make us like methodology. What your doing should also done by other researchers, sharing their expertise. Money is not the only thing that matters in these short lives of ours. Thanks, also, a bunch to your team. Believe me, what your doing is very helpful in many parts of the world, especially for those researchers operating in Africa with little means and little access to research tools.Any more help other people ask you for is just an abuse to my sense. Thanks for the substance. We'll try to do the rest. I wish other researchers could stop bothering you with personal questions. It's their task to do their research.

That's good to hear. I'm glad you've found them useful. It would be interesting to hear what your anthropologists think.

    Naif,
Good to hear from you. Parts I & 2 are about the issues of research quality and are part of the playlist "Research Quality and the Research Process". I put the title of the section first (and the topic of the whole lecture later) as I thought that would help people find the right video.

Alex, I'm glad you found the videos helpful. I do indeed have several other videos about qualitative research. Look on my channel. Click on my name, by my photo above to go there. I have around 70 videos and several playlists, including one on coding in qualitative analysis and one on grounded theory.

    Damilola,
It would be great if you shared them with all you friends in Africa. All the videos have a Creative Commons 3.0 licence that means you can use and reuse them anywhere in a non-commercial context provided you give credit to the person who created them.

Dear Professor Gibbs. I am an older student from Mexico. I am worried about my "story" and the way it comes out in the report. Could I send you the Chapter where I try to follow you?
