went searching for a podcast that engages Nigerian entrepreneurs with a global mindset and culture of running a business. I'm glad I came across this you-tube page.
I had to watch this video from the beginning to the end wow this interview is quite amazing and enlightening 😊😊I would want to watch this back , someone should like this comment for my coming back❤ everything this man said here is pure ways of Hines business strategy
Great conversation! The concept of sachetization as a business model, combined with digitizing traditional best practices and democratizing solutions, is truly inspiring.
He’s a fantastic guy. Met him once at BMS Gym & Spa Ikoyi, that’s the gym he talks about joining upon returning home. He’s very inspirational, blessed to have such a supportive wife…met her as well at BMS, especially if you know how multicultural she is. Keep doing great things Mr Yomi. 🎉
He's very correct about the feeling of impact, I work as an IT consultant and have actively sought out opportunities to build in Nigeria. The work I do here is more fulfilling than the work that pays more
I enjoy this interview. People keep underestimate the abundance wealth that Nigeria bring. Once you grind every business there is an wealthy guy end of every tunnel. Keep it up. Greeting from UK.
Great work, great interview. Yomi clearly has more answers for teeming entrepreneurs in Africa. We need to glean from this resource. Thank you for investing yourself in lives.
Just finished listening to this episode, absolutely packed with valuable insights. The depth of knowledge shared and actionable advice made it incredibly informative. Looking forward to more episodes like this
Hi Utibe, Apologies for the inconvenience; the issue has now been resolved. Thank you for watching, and please don't forget to like, share, and subscribe!
The part about wearing a mask in the west feels so relatable at 5:09 Fortunately I’m at a place where I can be more authentically myself even in the west.
Wow! Subscription minimum is 38,000 and they have 27,000 subscriber. Thats 1billion naira monthly from all of the location. Thats crazy. In that nigeria. How do they cut cost on electricity? Do they run on gen or use solar to minimize cost of power? Also, do they sell franchise of the business? If they dont i think that should be a good business side they need to look into. I'm impressed!
Mehn... this is a masterclass 👏 Good question.. I love the fact that you ask some questions some might be scared to ask, like how much you invested etc. I think asking those hard questions would really propel the podcast. I really enjoyed this and learned a lot Thank you 🎉
This has to be one of the MOST resourceful podcast about Nigeria and West Africa that I have watched!! I would like to meet Yomi anywhere in Texas. Great job Elijah Affi👏🏽👏🏽
one of the thing i have said . pple think is their own power to JAPA ... is the Nigerian Govt who's making you guys Japa . if Nigerian Govt did not support it , you think anyone can leave Nigeria . Nigerian Govt knows . even if is just 200$ or 500$ you sent back to Nigeria every month is big . just imagine 500$ X 100,000 Nigerians abroad coming back to Nigeria monthly . the said this always Nigeria abroad remit billions back to Nigeria yearly
His company is delivering but could do more. Some staff members are it serous with their job and I am saying this because I am one of their many customers
I tried buying some companies shares through the but the senior staff member attend to me very terribly that I promised moving my custom from them and that of my families and friends. I also promised her that I will share my horrible experiences with them on my social handles
The answer is: the West has locked Africa out of the global financial space. You cannot even do a simple bank wire from the UK to Nigeria, even with the BVN and NIN and all the other personal unique identifiers.
@@prolificlife1710 I personally think that Africans need to stop obsessing about the rest of the world and start being obsessed about solving her own problems.

I don't know why none of your guests can answer or understand the question of "why can't Nigeria or Africa build a global solution"
The answer is: the West has locked Africa out of the global financial space. You cannot even do a simple bank wire from the UK to Nigeria, even with the BVN and NIN and all the other personal unique identifiers.
Maybe that question shouldn't be answered for now. Maybe they do not need to build a global solution(for now) but build for Africans first.
@@prolificlife1710well said, African barely have sustainable solutions for Africans……why not solve that problem first 🤷🏻♀️
The idea is building a road to the village instead of focusing on building a spaceship to the moon
@@prolificlife1710 I personally think that Africans need to stop obsessing about the rest of the world and start being obsessed about solving her own problems.
