    I ride a zx10r these days. I miss my old 400 and will get another one. I don't always need 225 hp. Actually I never need it. It takes experience to appreciate a 400 on the street. Actually pinning the throttle and shifting through all gears is just beautiful.

    A dude at work I was talking to about motorcycles just died in a crash Monday.
    That last thing he told me was, "As a beginner you should start on a 300 but if you start on a 600 take it slow." He was a quiet but cool person.
    I'm definitely starting on a ninja 400 but hearing about what happen makes me think more about it.

      i lost a friend in an accident a few months ago. Ive lost quite a few people since ive started riding. Big tip is dont speed and dont do dumb shit, thats what kills you. Yeah other people make mistakes but everyone ive known thats died so far has been them doing dumb shit running from the cops or doing 150+ down the freeway. Be careful and you should be good.

    great video fam, it was both entertaining and educational. im a new rider and getting my 400 in the next few days so the "lube chain every 3-4 days / change oil every 3000 miles" stuff helps, i jotted that down. ofc ill still test my luck by going 125 for half an hour down some highway some day in the future but it's good to know it can fk your engine up.

    I’m thinking of buying a used ninja 400 for my first bike any idea if that would be my best go, I was looking at 650s but it’s a bit of a money stretch any feedback is appreciated 👍

    • @middlefingermedia
      @middlefingermedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      the 400 is definitely gonna be cheaper when it comes to insurance and gas. it really depends on what you want it for. for long distance cruising on the highway get the 650. but for a fun sporty bike definitely get the 400 as it’s more flickable in turns and a lot more rowdy and sporty of a bike. personally i’d go for the 400 just based off of that

      @middlefingermedia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      vid on this soon

    • @BahhJustaLamb
      @BahhJustaLamb 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got excited about the ZX4RR for a second until I realized that it literally makes 3lb/ft less torque than the Ninja 400...
      And the torque + 80HP doesn't hit until 11,000 RPM...
      And it costs as much as a Honda CBR650R, which is a 650 inline-4 that makes 95HP and DOUBLE the torque..
      So basically, you're paying double the money of a Ninja 400 for the nice sound and a technically faster bike... But it will feel slower than the Ninja 400 under most circumstances unless you are on the track.
      ... I think I'll pass. The 4cyl sound is not worth losing street rideability, spending double the money, and also the increased maintenance/insurance costs.

    • @LogicalQ
      @LogicalQ 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BahhJustaLamb for me it’s going to depend entirely on the sound. Can’t wait to hear this thing with a proper pipe.
