Great explanation but I was hoping to better understand the MCLT but was only more confused. I was expecting the original lease to be for the default 8 days but the video shows (7:59) it to be for an hour from July 30, 2017 3:58:22 PM to 4:58:22 PM. When you shut down DHCP01 and released and renewed I was expecting to see an hour long lease but the lease shown is for 8 days (8:38) from July 30, 2017 4:05:23 PM to August 7, 2017 4:05:24 PM. When you go back to the DHCP management console (9:54) it again shows August 7, 2017 4:05:24 PM as the expiration date.
Hi ITdvds. Is there a way to configure a rule to let the admin know that hey you forgot to configure the failover server ? We have documentation at our company but sometimes people forget to follow those docs and we are looking for an automatic way to get notified that failover was not set up.
