BERN Switzerland🇨🇭

This video was short walk around the city of BERN Switzerland. The walk started after getting off the train from Central Station towards Parliament Building down to Aare River via funicular train. Then walked back to CBD and ended up the rooftop terrace of Hotel Schweizerhof. Bern, the capital city of Switzerland, is built around a crook in the Aare River. It traces its origins back to the 12th century, with medieval architecture preserved in the Altstadt (Old Town).

Terrific video. Bern is one of my favorite cities, but I've only been there during the winter months. It's nice to stroll through the city on a bright, sunny day. Nice job capturing all the great sites!

Thanks Scott..... we went to this city for a day trip to catch-up with my long time friend in high school who lives in Bern. This capital city is really nice and we should have stayed for at least overnight or two to discover more places like what you did in your videos...maybe next time :)

The correct writing would be Käfigturm, not Kåfigturm.

I mis-understood in creating German ä character using MacBook, I should press Option + U then letter a .....I only pressed Option then a. Thank you so much for the heads up. Next time should be right🙂
