Salaam u Alaska, Aky. What I have found to be the most excellence Arabic grammar and language study is from the website; Arabic 101. There is no equal in the Ummah. Even the brother's tafsir on mswmat or music is Sahih. Not that he is Sunni but I could only be a student of studying the Qur'ran. Maybe for life. Take a tour of their website and refer others if you are pleased, Inshallah.

Maasha’Allah, Ustadh Jubril Alao is a most eloquent speaker who conveyed the importance of learning the Arabic language with such clarity that I, as a born Muslim of 73 years, now feel cheated that I only get to hear about the taste of the chocolate or the fragrance of the perfume from a third party, because I only understand the meanings of the majestic Quran in English. I wish and hope that Muslim majority countries would make the learning of Quran Arabic compulsory for Muslims now that such countries have at least physically thrown off the shackles of colonialism.

Algamdulilah! Truly enjoyed ur introduction! An absolute inspiration! It is so amazing how much more enjoyable it is when u know the meaning of the words when reading! Algamdulilah! It is so much more meaningful when u speak the way u do! I started a while back and started at the grammar and did enjoy it for a while blimey new words just kept coming! Soon I was to know 200 hundred words and then circumstantially I dropped! The pace is seldom important! Now becos I'm English speaking I enjoy reading in English as well as reading in Arabic cos I am able to with little understanding! Would love to learn though it seems moving away from me at 65yrs! I guess one is never to old! My pleasure to meet u as u may a Mureed of Sheik Ebrahim! Can't wait to share this! Looking forward to future lectures! May Allah SWT guide and protect u! Ameen!

it is the only pure unchanged word of Allah (the God),it is clear as the Sun ,not only the way it is worded and the scientific facts are beyond any imaginable doubt but God challenged the mankind and the Jenn family to write something like it in its elegant form and meaning,no one can describe the creation so well without any scientific conditions for the past 1446 years. Also Allah mentioned in the Quran that he himself will protect it from any changes which exactly what we have today billions of identical Arabic Quran text books all over the globe but not one different book .
      To prove my point,
If every single religious text books disappears from existence today, the only book that can be written back the next day word for word with its 604 pages is the Quran as there is at least 2 millions of living Muslims memorized the entire Quran 604 pages as it was revealed,no other religion has that.
I am more than happy to challenge the word on these facts.
All it takes is sincerity to seek truth before you can find

I think he is just saying that to the extent that you try and make an effort and can make any progress then you will benefit by greater understanding. But Allah knows and recognizes all of our efforts and grants us understanding as he wills. So some of us may be able to achieve a high level of understanding and will reap great benefit and others of us will perhaps just learn a little bit. But we will all still benefit. Some people may not have the aptitude or ability to learn a new language to a high level and that is also fine. But don't give up on the possibility unless you have tried it. I know somebody who had a Deaf father in India who was totally illiterate and couldn't hear any spoken language. Of course the written lines in the Quran wouldn't have linguistic meaning for him but he would reverently sit and track the lines with his fingers and pray to Allah and who knows? Perhaps his Ajr was more than some Scholars who know every detail of the grammar and language. Wa Allah 'aalim.

Be aware and concern with our sacred month of Rajab is upon us. In this month is very unique and special days; Ragahib, Maarij and the Mawlid. It gives the Ummat of Rasullah Sallawhu alayhe was Sallam the boost towards the months of Sha'ban and Ramadan. Don't neglect the sacred month nor the special days in the month. Of course, we have 10 holidays during the Hijrah year. We live the Hijrah months not the Georgian months and their idolatrist days. Ameen.

Mashallah, I'm taking Arabic online, I'm having such a hard time breaking down the grammar of the sentence when I can barely understand what I'm reading.

This requires a systemic change in education system, more so in Muslim countries. Arabic lessons should be added. Otherwise, it’s not realistic. You have people struggling to take care of their family, facing so much injustices, you can’t expect such luxury (yes, language learning IS a luxury) from them.
