And also voices, very dry yet beautifully raw in recording! I still think personally Sashaa would've been better at the vocals(Jonita is great, but still here i would've preferred the understated yet equally melancholic touch of Sashaa vocal prowess).
My favourite & highlight of albums are Baaja (i mean what kind of bhangra & broadway fusion is that masterpiece, with a slight touch of tappa too in there) & Bol Mohabbat.
I hope you react to *Baaja* as well. Thats just ARR at his absolute best with seamless fusion of epic bombastic proportions🙌🏻🙌🏻🔥🔥
I agree. I too liked Baaja more than Vida Karo.

Was waiting for your take on this. When I heard this first, somehow my mind too immediately went to Chingari Koi Bhadke! Although the tune and lyrics are very different. Maybe because such melancholy songs are so rarely made.

i noticed the kaaran thing as well 😂❤ Oh, and it's definitely not because of the regionality of the character, in fact, in Punjabi, the kaaran waala Na as well as La, as used in marathi word Laavni (the sharper la) are both used very much.

Great analysis sir. How to distinguish counter melody(1:09) from harmony(3:48)here? In songs like Taare Ginn its pretty evident, but not here. Secondly, while writing song when to use what, I mean feel wise how to decide?
If the melody is supported by chord or same melody is pitched up or down and played with the melody.. that is harmony... When the chords also have movement in them..i.e if it also forms a melody under the main melody.. that is a counter melody.. how to do it has to come with practice and a lot of music theory knowledge
