    Thank you very much for this Tutorial, ... it is formidable!.
    But at the same time I have the impression that the same result can be achieved,
    greatly simplifying the Process.
    (I followed it as is on my computer).
    I have that impression, because it is long and complex ...
    and sometimes it is difficult for me to know why you follow that path.
    Regards!

    I constructed a similar code with a familiar result. I wonder if there is a way for a more organized Voronoi and Delanuay Pattern ordering using Sun data. Thermal and radiative responsive facades are of great service in architecture.
    Parametric Architecture is business in the good sense. Great uniform patters provides a dialogue between the exterior and interior of the building with the advantage of being modular. In my opinion Parametric Architecture in the strict sense worth the time. It's science based on data analysis.

    Thank you for your video! I'm using Rhino 8 and I'm running into the same problem for several times now, which is when a closed curve is extruded (even with a radius) it is not read as a "surface", and therefore the next components, in this case "Dimensions" & "Surface Morph" do not work. I tried to deconstruct the open extrusion but then I got 8 untrimmed surfaces which are not continuous. Could you please help?

    • @JuneLeeDesign
      @JuneLeeDesign  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Use move component and link it to the rectangle curve(in Z axis) so you will get 2 curves, one is original curve(bottom of rectangle) and that of top of rentangle. And then use Loft component to make surface.

    thank you for this impressive tutorial. i have a question for you. i want to fill a slightly deformed closed circular shape with exact scaled circles instead of voronoi shape. and i want to scale them up towards to the center of deformed circular closed shape that i mentioned before. just like some laptops speaker holes. i hope i can explain the geometry. how can i do this. thank you again

    • @JuneLeeDesign
      @JuneLeeDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I m not sure I understood well. I think you need to make a surface first and then divide surface to get curves on the surface. After that, you may divide curves to get vertices which are for the center of the circles.

      @mustafaunalmis 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JuneLeeDesign thank you for quick response. i ask you another way. draw a circle, array it rectangular, draw a closed custom curve onto these circles. i want to scaled circles down from center of the custom curve to the border of custom the curve. unfortunately i am a newbie at gh.

      You can do what I explained above but need to add 'curve closest point' component. It is a little bit hard to describe just by text. I recommend you to post this on www.reddit.com/r/rhino/ or discourse.mcneel.com/c/grasshopper. You can add screenshot there so it will be easy to get further assistance.

    Really good tutorial and very easy to follow. Thank you! :) I have one doubt though, after forming the pattern and applying boundary surface, I gave an extrusion value of 0.5m. But once I morph it, the wall is 1m thick. I think it has something to do with the uvw domain value, possibly cuz I did a rectangle and not a square, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?

    • @JuneLeeDesign

      Change 'W' value in 'Surface Morph' component to 0.5.

    Hi! That's an amazing script! Do you know how far I have to change it in order to construct squares at the beginning of the facade which change into circles step by step? I would be so happy if you had a solution to my question!

    • @JuneLeeDesign
      @JuneLeeDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can replace 'Voronoi' component to 'Rectangle' but need to change script regarding to 'Curve Closest Point' Component. Also, I do not recommend to use populate 3d because in this case, square will be overlapped. Check this th-cam.com/video/Dqmi0QxnF8s/w-d-xo.html I think it would be easier.

    Hey! I followed each and every step, but instead of rectangular geometry for building, I took sphere , everything went good and there were no errors but on the last step where I had to bake my model I am not able to do that. I am just a beginner, have I done anything wrong?

    • @JuneLeeDesign
      @JuneLeeDesign  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In order to morph surface, you should have untrimmed surface(sphere is not). You may have voronoi curve and project them on sphere.

      You can make surface from Nurbs Curve Component in 06:47 and morph them. Or if you need just render image, I recommend you just make cube but a little bit thinner than the original geometry in this video and assign glass there.
