Curious how not many of the recognizable Fantasyland attractions are shown (particularly the carousel, teacups, and of course Dumbo) but this was probably because most of the area had began construction on 1983's New Fantasyland revamp
Watching this, I can tell that some of the ride footage was recycled from previous Disney specials, like the Haunted Mansion footage was taken from "Disneyland Showtime" and the Country Bears footage was taken from the Walt Disney World Grand Opening special. A Dream called Walt Disney World did the same thing, and even used the same footage that this one uses as well.
What’s shocking about this one is it actually has new Pirates footage instead of the same recycled clips from the “POTC to the World of Tomorrow” show that most compilations used, like A Dream Called WDW.
Wayne Allwine - Mickey Mouse Tony Anselmo - Donald Duck James Avery - Br’er Bear Kathryn Beaumont - Alice Mary Kay Bergman - Snow White Corey Burton - Captain Hook, Dale, Mad Hatter, Mr. Smee Bill Farmer - Goofy J.D. Hall - Br’er Fox Tress MacNeille - Chip Diane Michelle - Daisy Duck Russi Taylor - Minnie Mouse
pretty cool. this was 42 years from today. and only 27 years after the opening of Disneyland.
0:51 The date says "MCMXXXII", which is actually the Roman numeral for 1932 (1982 is MCMLXXXII).
nice catch! How did that slip?
I noticed that as well!!
9:38 as someone who used to work at the Country Bear Jamboree, while Zeb IS a fiddle player, that is NOT Zeb! That’s Ernest the Dude!
Thanks for sharing. I had only seen the 1991 version.
Wow. We purchased the 1993 version when we saw it and it's sooo much better! I've seen the early clips they showed many times.
Had no idea this tape even existed
I remember this program.

This seemed like the reused footage from the '70s...
This before Disneyland & Disney going downhill after the pre pixar era
"But everything changed when the Pixar Nation attacked".
And look how those warning labels helped the stop of piracy
This is crazy 🙉
I don’t know the voice of the Narrator and his daughter.
According to IMDB the only actor credit goes to Silvana Vienne which I assume voices the little girl.
I had this tape .Now iam thinking WHY. Ha haha haha
looks like the 1983 reprint
What was the original?
Wayne Allwine - Mickey Mouse
Tony Anselmo - Donald Duck
James Avery - Br’er Bear
Kathryn Beaumont - Alice
Mary Kay Bergman - Snow White
Corey Burton - Captain Hook, Dale, Mad Hatter, Mr. Smee
Bill Farmer - Goofy
J.D. Hall - Br’er Fox
Tress MacNeille - Chip
Diane Michelle - Daisy Duck
Russi Taylor - Minnie Mouse
Does kinda feel like it was made in the 1970s.
A lot of the footage is from 70s. You can tell the difference in footage shot on actual film and footage shot on video.
Yep. Because all little girls dressed like that in the early '80's....not! I was 20 in '82 and even to me it looked very old fashioned.
This is before the Woke and those Disney adult need to get life outside of their Disney fandom
What does your comment even mean?
