Stay on your meds, attend all necessary Appointments, and find a counselor you feel you have a connection with and understands you. Mental health is SO IMPORTANT, folks.

If you’re talking about having ADHD testing done, it doesn’t have to be in a hospital. There are psychologists and psychiatrists that specialize in different testing like this that are located in clinics as well. Just have to google to find what’s close to you (and what’s in network, if that applies).
It’s an old and I assume mostly out of date practice, but I wanted to use card shuffling sounds. There isn’t any correct answer but psychs would use your interpretation of the images and use that to determine if you had some disorders or particular levels of trauma. If you ever feel like going down an internet search rabbit hole, it’s interesting.
