Thats why I originally started the guides. When I started playing wt I searched for good guides but all I got were 2 minutes videos that were more entertainment than actually teaching you stuff. Then when I saw the review about the k4 and the mirage 3e with wrong informations from spitflyer or "use the gunpods cause your performance is bad anyways" from defyn, i had to make things right
Right, I actually watched your most recent Spitfire video as a new viewer right after watching a Defyn review of a Strike Jet I am considering. He goes on to obliterate an entire lobby in my exact playstyle and say, "it's kind of boring do not recommend."
@@HeyImKatyusha You're telling me DEFYN and Jengar are making 2 minute guides? Chances are your video here is good but I shut it off after two seconds of AI voice.
@@whatdothlife4660 That's my personal opinion. If you enjoy their videos, that's totally fine. I for my part miss actual informations and real guides. Jengar lacks actual knowledge about the stuff he is representing. He plays something and says how he feel about it. Defyin is the same thing, but he plays better. You won't learn how to play something, from a gameplay video with commentary. Those videos are made for entertaining purposes and not abdication. Something like bias or hot takes shouldn't be part of it.
@@HeyImKatyusha(This is long but it goes in depth so don’t read it unless you really want to.) don’t worry I’m not a Defyn fanboy attacking, and I’m not trying to change your opinion but I just wanted to say this. His videos/guides are more or less about how to play a dog fight, how to rate fight, how to use flaps properly, how to use energy efficiently. Things like that (I’m talking about his few guides not his entertainment/little plane review videos that he mostly does.) but other then that I would say he doesn’t cover how to really play the plane in depth like you do. like Defyn will say something here and there about its weaknesses and strengths, but he mostly runs you through how he plays and what’s going on in his head. So you can learn from him but it takes time and it’s not really a guide you know. But for you the guides you make are really handy and they helped me learn a bit more about the planes, (I been playing WT for 8 years so I know how to play most of the planes from the major nations and some of the minor nations, and I know most of their strengths and weaknesses which is why I say I learned a bit more because I know most of the planes in and out by now.) but your guides are very good because they go over every version of the plane your going over down to the smallest detail about each one which I haven’t seen anybody do. And this also goes for the guns plus what belts to use, heck you even cover the aerodynamics and the characteristics of the wing and on how it performs like the lift it makes. You even go over the manual engine controls plus how many supercharger gears it has and how to use them. You also go over the strengths and weakness of the plane basically anything to know about the plane you include. My brother and a few of my friends recently have started playing WT, they play US and Germany air, your guides and Defyns (I’m saying both equally btw.) have helped them improve really fast at WT. So I also wanted to thank you for that, and you put out awesome videos that really help people so keep it up man. The knowledge they have gotten from both have made them a force to be reckoned with in air RB which just says volumes to how good your guides are and the few defyn have done. (This comment is are ready really long so I’m really sorry for that but I had to choose what to say that really explained you know.)
The gear was actually designed to be used as airbreaks The gull wings were used to allow for short strong landing gear, (for carrier landings) and while still leaving enough ground clearance for a big ass propeller
If war thunder was realistic with landing gear at all most of them wouldn't rip at top speeds regardless. The landing gear on these planes and built to withstand so much more than wind pressure at high speeds. I would be afraid to fly a plane if it has gear that'll break like they do in this game because you couldnt trust landing gear like that to handle the force of landing that these gears get put through. The landing gear on these planes are strong enough to be locked into place by said landing gear so that mechanics and engineers can stress test motors and run them at maximum power with the plane unmoving and still on the ground.
I didn't even know the f6f were this good i just wrote it off as bad cause it handles like a brick, your video really helped me understand the planes better
To be honest I never played the f6f in the American line. I had to play it when started my road to mirage and there i noticed the potential the plane had
I played from ace combat 4 to the newest one. But hey, atleast you got your maneuvers right and your music too... Ace Combat 4, 5 and zero got the best music. 😉😉
The reason for that is youtube itself. All the old wt youtuber are mostly just popular cause they already had the viewers. Also the majority of people don't really care about guides or tutorials anymore but just want 2 minute videos where you get told to boom and zoom
I m not trying to be evil, but the only quality things here are the information and gameplay. The video editing and voice over are very amateur. Doesn't bother me though, just hard to ignore.

Thank you for the video, it seemed like my mistake was turning too soon without getting my speed back. Anyway, I have greatly improved recently in my yak by watching your tutorials. Hope to get more of that.
What a strong series of plane guides! 😮😍 Just found your channel and i must say You're the only one that really explains the difference of the fighters well. Not the old "just climb and boom and zoom" guide for the american lineup. If i had knew earlier that shallow climbs and dissengagement with speed are the key for US planes I would had a much less frustrating time grinding the tech tree 😂 Started out with the US and always wondered why BF's and Yak's were able to keep up with me when i transfered my 800km/h kin. energy into vertical. Now I thankfully learned their forte is vertical climbe rate and not mine in an p51 and p47. Keep up the great work 🙏
I feel like I'm one of the few who actually play the F6F regularly. I purchased the British Hellcat with some extra GE on a whim...it quickly became my favorite as a player with very little experience. And it has only gotten better with time. No, it is not the best plane at it's BR nor does it have good rewards. But, fun is the best perk in my opinion.
Thanks for your guides. After 1500h of mostly ground I want to learn to fly. The biggest struggle I had was how to fly different planes, your videos cleared alot of that up for me.
I’ll say the f6f has ok energy retention and boom and zoom is good but when it comes down to it climb and boom and zoom first but as soon as you get into the position to turn fight do it the plane is designed to out turn and over power the zero it doesn’t have the best energy retention but it’s engine over compensates for that by simply getting the energy back
the problem really is, the second someone goes upwards you will stall yourself out. your engine is really strong, but your weight lets gravity working against you
hey man, I discovered you like 2-3 videos ago and I love them. You explain very well and I improved alot in fw's. could you do spitfires for next video?
thats great to hear. spitfires are pretty much the last major plane line there is besides the italian tree. they will most likley be next after the energy maneuver guide, but i will let the people vote again
Till I started this guides I never saw anyone explaining how to use a plane. It was always just "climb above your enemy" yeah wow what if he is above me? Or like "turnfight them" yeah wow what if he is higher than me?
This time I have to say that although I like the designs I really hate the American planes in mid tier especially because of the super corsair and the f2g, they are not planes that I play a lot but I admit that they are quite good I like the ones from the naval line
They are hard to play and not the best air RB planes, but in ground RB or SB they are really strong. And against Japanese planes they will just outperform every besides a7m2 and ki84
@@major_kukri2430 the thing about air sim i dont like is that in props you wingstall so easy and can't pull Gs like you would in reality. The spitfire is the worst with that. Also BRs are ridiculous. A7m1 at 4.0? While you have stuff like p51d20 at 5.0
@HeyImKatyusha yeah. It's a bit stupid. Especially the flight models like the spitfires. I don't even fly those. But there are gems like the f4u 4 and the tempests and typhoon and fw190A5 and p38s that feel incredibly realistic.
Corsairs can do very well against opponents who like to do horizontal flat turns by taking advantage of God's G. When you're doing an upward vertical turn, ideally in a diagonal movement, you effectively add a G to how hard you can pull during that turn thanks to gravity, which can counteract your speed loss to remain inside an opponent's turning circle while also allowing you to regain that speed as you throw it back down onto their six. It's a risky move to pull off while any enemy fighters are hanging around, but in a straight 1v1 this can be a great trick to pull out, especially with the late corsairs thanks to their insane engine power.
i know what you mean. i never used it, and the guys who tried it always lost, cause if you have a enemy that can save up energy he will always just sit behind you

For real, F4F is mid incarnate. Tried to BnZ with it, failed. Tried to energy fight with it, failed. Flies like a brick, but as hard as one though with its durability. Works well as a wingman/bait.
I'll be honest, I feel like F4u 4b is one of best aircrafts at 5.7 cuz of it's insane energy fighting possibilities, spiraling with spitfires and yaks was never so easy as with the f4u4b, most of them are smart enough to try to run, but some just straight up fall into my guns, and the flaps are just insane for low speed handling
Not only that. IAS tells you when your wings flaps or gear breaks. Matter of fact I tried only IAS but then it felt weird cause IAS at high alt gives you very low numbers. Then I tried both but that were too many numbers on the screen so I just stood with the speed indicator and I roughly know the limits from everything at all hights
the answer is not climbing much at all in early f4u models. 10 degree shallow climb is enough. also use min fuel cause you will have to rtb cause of the limited wep
You deserve more subscribers than most other WT youtubers which just say "boom n zoom" with every plane that isnt a turnfighter. Keep it up man
