Someone told me Ganyu’s bloom counts as “air time” for the passive, which is around 0.3 seconds. That being said, most non-point-blank shots should have most of the buff.

I doubt anything could be better than that overpowered bow. The hunter bow is just so op I asked mihoyo for a nerf every patch survey. I mean who wouldnt want a nerf on a weapon with 741 base attack and 122.4 crit damage ans its a free weapon

one of the nices things in frezze teams is that Bennett and Zhongli is not really necessary, amd Yelan also not the best hydro support for Ganyu. He could have used a melt Ganyu build and team for the showcase, things would be easier.
For future reference, there are a ton more ruin guards in Enkanomiya! That place is always my go to while farming elites, they're everywhere.

Was just gonna say that myself. 😆 I only ever go there now for the ruin hunters and guards which is a shame. Love that place. 🤗
Also, the distance buff is more for the bloom damage, bc the time it takes to fly to the enemy is not the only time that is counted, also the time it takes to hit the enemy once and the bloom to activate

Hey Moga! So with Amos Ganyu you pretty much always have the full buff active because it also takes into account the time for the bloom part of the charged shot to hit the enemy. Considering the delay between the initial CA and the Bloom CA, you pretty much always get the full buff on Bloom which is what matters most.
Yeah but initial shot does deal quite a lot of damage so it wouldn’t be bad to try to distance yourself from the enemy

I know I'm gonna sound annoying, but please in frezze teams use Mona or Kokomi. They are made for those kinds of teams, especialy when it comes with Ganyu.
You don’t sound annoying, him using Zhongli Bennett and Xingqiu/Yelan for every team even when most of the time they’re not the best supports for the character he’s showcasing is getting a bit repetitive imo. Like I get that they’re all broken, but he has every almost every character in the game built, in that case a little research to see what a character’s bis team is before showcasing them wouldn’t be that hard. Of course can do what he likes, but it’s a bit sad to see him spend so much money on characters just to not use them

Using Xingqiu/Yelan, Bennett & Zhongli on every team is not ideal at all.
@@optimistic.pessimist Even Xingqiu wouldn't be so bad because of the orbiting swords applying hydro when you're close to the enemy. Yelan is damn near the worst hydro character to pair with Ganyu in this situation lol

The second hit on ganyu charge attack counts for the passive of the Amos, so ganyu always has max stacks in her second hit.

I was screaming WHY as you did the showcase with Yelan in that team when in fact she was *useless* since her ult only works on Normal attacks plus you missed the pyro resonance.
yelan's buff works with every type of damage

also, pyro ressonance with a build for frezze Ganyu with only 31% crit, and not even frezzing. She is criting there cause of her passive the set is doing almost nothing and not even using cryo ressonance too. If it was at least a melt Ganyu, with Xiangling or Kazuha instead of Yelan.
@@LesbianImpact Why not? Freeze teams are fun. A word of advice, don't tell other people to play what teams YOU like... Especially when their party was already okay to begin with.

But there are other characters u use to freeze when the Main dps is Ganyu.
Mona, Kokomi, & Ayato.
I suppose someone else has already said this, but just in case, the delay between the initial hit and the bloom damage counts for ganyu, so you always have at least some of the passive when it comes to the bloom damage, regardless of distance. I believe it's always at least 3 of 5 stacks

Use Mona with ganyu, it’s a lot easier to freeze the enemies

8:42 mona is really good for freeze ganyu!! the most typical freeze ganyu team is ofc ganyu, mona and venti + zhongli/diona, but if you want to showcase her and use BS i think instead of yelan, mona is far better (with her ult and constant hydro application by her e)
Also Mona/Kokomi + thrilling tales will do more dmg

@@doopmoop for abyss I use Kokomi in the frezze team, but overworld, just for fun anyway, Barbara is a lot more easier to play in my opinion, especially cause I don't need to frezze the enemies if they're too far away anyway

Hey moga, just letting you know.
Freezee ganyu, there are some good characters for it, Mona or Kokomi. Kokomi's range is pretty large, and mona's burst and skill are consistantly applying cryo
moga, if you struggle with freezing enemies with Ganyu you can use Mona/Komi instead of Yelan
btw you’re not supposed to use units like yelan and xingqiu for freeze ganyu, you should be using mona or kokomi
It's a great bow, now you can use it for Ganyu and God mode Amber! Especially since it wasn't raised when you tried Raising Amber. Looking forward for more content.

this is actually a good bow for amber also I noticed in your last team you was struggling with a team so here's a tip for god mode amber use sucrose Diona and rosaria use Dion e then burst and sucrose E's then rosaria burst amber burst and then amber E just for a little help.
the bloom from ganyu while using amos bow does get the buff as that counts as the charged atk. So, the bloom will have the 40% buff + 12% buff from the passive more often
Freeze ganyu usually uses kokomi or mona with their skill it’s much more convenient to freeze that way

To go to the secret island u don't need to ice bridge u can go to the starsnatch cliff and glide u might need stamina food though.

Hey @Moga the time between the first hit of the chraged attack and the second also counts as flying time so you'll need to add the two of them to know the real buff to the frostflake bloom dmg
Freeze Ganyu with Xingqiu/Yelan is actually really suboptimal for her lol
I've found it more fun with someone like Kokomi, especially if shes running ToM for the extra attack buff, or mona
Plus the 100% uptime on Kokomi's jellyfish makes it really easy to keep things frozen
the best team I'd think for a freeze ganyu, or at least what I use is Kazuha, Kokomi, Shenhe, and Ganyu rather than trying to force bennet and zhongli in there
they're better supports with melt ganyu, and bennet really doesn't help as much when you're using a bow like amos bos because of the diminishing attack returns
tip on her stats : You could potentially get more damage out if her if you sacrificed some of that crit damage for attack %. Mine has 2500 attack and only 170 crit damage and she does about the same as yours. So I imagine if you could balance those 2 stats a bit more you could hit some really big numbers.
The time lag between the impact of the arrow hitting, and the follow up bloom, also counts toward Amos’ buff,
so you still get 3-4 stacks on the bloom (the bigger part) even if you hug your opponent
I see that you have a bit of trouble with a freeze comp, Im a Ganyu main, and the freeze team that i run with her is: Rosaria, Kokomi and Sucrose, is actually a very good team and ease to set :) (Rosaria E+Sucrose E+Kokomi E+Sucrose Q+Rosaria Q and atack with Ganyu)
he's using a Ganyu for a frezze team, but not a frezze comp, so expecting a ton of problems should be normal. I personally use frezze Ganyu with Kokomi or Ayato, Diona or Rosaria and Sucrose/Venti, depends if a need any of them in others teams.

@@Hoolahups I don't have both of them, maybe Kazuha will come home, I'm on 50/50 thought and what I get right is mostly for Sumeru

@@lotus4388 it depends on the scenario. In bosses or near enemies that don't get pulled well, or if going for high raw damage, kazuha is better. If there are lots of smaller enemies, or if you want to use ganyus burst more often, go venti.
Ganyu is my favorite character, so here's hoping I can get Amos' Bow soon. Also, that little montage of all the ruin guards falling over was amazing xD

Her bloom always get the Amos' passive bonus because it hits after 0.3s

if you wanna go to the unmarked island you can just use the fan thingy and fly off starsnatch cliff and you can make it with maybe one stamina food. there’s like 2 or 3 ruin guards out there but also if you want crabs grab sayu and head out there and there’s like at least 10 if not more. it’s probably the best place to grab a bunch of crabs. spawn beach and a couple places in inazuma are ok also but unmarked island is the best one imo. i just like making the golden crab for domain runs but if you want crabs the unmarked island is honestly best

Hey Moga, just to let you know, you can glide down from the cliff to the hidden island. You can use venti plus kazuha or just amber. Youll be able to reach it fast that way

im just happy seeing it raised and on ganyu, because the last time i saw amos in raising amber vid it was lvl 1 and not equipped on anyone- but this makes me happy, plus ganyu clapped the mobs.
You can fly all the way to the island at max stamina and the flight gear that gives extra speed and plunge down when almost out of stamina to regain some and swim to the island

You said that you had problems with ayaka and ganyu that they kinda share artifacts well a tip i wanna give you is that you give your blizzard set to ayaka and since you got amos bow you should do wanders ganyu amos and wanders makes so much more damage for ganyu and if u use the strongbox to get some op artifacts thats amazing and when you do build wanders ganyu use this team (kazuha, shenhe, bennett and ganyu ofc) that will make her charged attack do so much damage :))

I think using kokomi ganyu kazuha shenhe is the BEST team for freeze ganyu/ayaka. Easy freezes with Kokomis persistent hydro application with her jelly fish, and ur still buffing her significantly with shenhe and kazuha. Def should try this team !!!
her bloom animation takes some time so its pretty for getting amos stacks

Use Kokomi jellyfish for Ganyu freeze comps! Her off field hydro application is really good, and it doesn’t require basics.

You can get to that island off of monstadt shore with Xiao. You just need to glide from one of the cliffs. Kaeya ice bridge longer, even with 4 Kaeyas.

30% crit rate is really enough on wanderer, shimenawa or blizzard strayer because she has the 20% crit rate buff passive on her bloom IF your playstyle is doing charged attack more often than burst and skill. On blizzard strayer, 30% crit rate on stat + 20% ganyu passive + 15% cryo res + 20% 4pc blizzard strayer cryo application + 20% 4pc blizzard strayer freeze reaction = a total of 105% crit rate!!

You can use Ganyu's E to prevent enemy coming toward you. Also when people are building freeze Ganyu with Mona or Kokomi, their Atk% bound to be not enough (around 1500-1800) because everyone focusing of CDMG and not noticing they are lacking Atk%. Amos is really good because it has decent Base Atk and really igh Atk% bonuses.
Yeah I was cringing at his attack stats as well. I have way less crit damage but way more attack and do about the same (and my build is not were I want it yet). She really does prefer attack % over inflated crit stats.
@@kamicokrolock yeah getting amos made me realise how important atk% is (the amos passive helps too lol)
before i got amos i was using skyward harp, with like 75% crit rate/300% cdmg with barely 2k atk and my CA couldnt break 30k. now, with amos my saviour, her stats are less impressive, but her damage speaks for itself. (bloom does like 36k or something)

I got the bow on July 1sr with itto, and maxed it mercifully over 4 days, and it is very good
Amos is a really good looking bow
Just to note: You almost always have full buff with the amos bow because the bloom arrows have it time added to the main arrow, giving them almost full buff
Hi Moga, since Ganyu's bloom has to do that little animation, it actually counts towards tha Amos passive, so every bloom she hits is at least guranteed to be 3 stacks.

For phys amber, u should check out rintaichou's Raiden solo with phys amber
My suggestion for a freeze ganyu would be the normal Morgana comp or this one that I use where it’s ganyu kazuha hydro (kokomi ayato or Mona) and another cryo
As a Ganyu main I can recommend using Ganyu, Kazuha, Shenhe, Kokomi over the current team (but current ones works too)
Since Moga has all characters I recommend this team because of the characters buffing her more and giving her an easier way to freeze enemies.
Current one doesn't really work tho
Yelan is terrible with Ganyu imo

i think yelan's passive was messing with your dmg numbers. a good support for freeze ganyu is kokomi, she can just passively apply hydro off field without you having to normal attack like with yelan/xingqiu. so using kokomi would be a more consistent way of testing the weapon. very fun video regardless, i loved the ruin guard montage xD
funny that this is the video sense I just got that bow for my Ganyu a few days ago off standard banner and literally only my 3rd 5* weapon which was crazy lucky! Mines lvl 81 atm with Ganyu still lvl 80 and I replaced my r5 Prototype Crescent with it.

The passive always works at least at half potential cuz the only thing you really care for is the bloom dmg, which casting animation time also counts

I think that you should start using wander troup for ganyu since that set increase charges shot 35% and has 80 em at 2p set which is good for melt ganyu,also that you don't need to swap your artifacts for ganyu and mess up lol
i mean i'd imagine moga has atleast a decent wanderers set, but its pretty hard (easier now with the artifact box thing) to get good pieces for that goddamn set
You should try wanderers troupe ganyu i tried it and i think its better than blizzard strayer
