The problem with many aftermarket exhausts is proper software mapping, especially if one does not have access to dyno tuning. At least with the Arrow you get the tune installed also.
I got my 2015 STR remapped with a remus exhaust while I was getting a service interval done. I had the Arrow map on before as I figured it would be a close match but I can tell a difference with the new map on it.
I like the looks and sound of the 675 and the 750 street triple bikes but I’m just too big and they don’t sit as comfortably as the 1200 does. I also just can’t miss that power difference in the 1050/1200 vs 675/750. The full carbon 750 I road on track day was was beast snd fun until I brought out the super bikes. If you want to get great at riding bike snd learning how to win with less power, which I think separates the greats from the average, ride lower cc bikes and learn how to win with what you have, then advance your power and the skills will follow.

Competition werkes sounds unbelievable but I literally have to wear ear plugs to ride lol. You almost have to have a quiet set up for long trips and a loud pipe for hioliganism.
Some of these look and/or sound great but after making some longer trips with a louder exhaust (even with baffle in) I'm considering going back to something quieter. It was just tiring and I had my ears ringing after a day's ride even with molded earplugs in. Thinking about buying a used Arrow, which was nicer than stock but reasonably quiet.

None of the short pipes sounds good at all. It just sound to loud and overflowing. Like an over used and loose but hole sounds like when they fart, ie just air coming out. :P

+Ghost du you realy know the difference between a V and an parrallel-engine. You do NOT drive a V2 if you own a MT-07. And by far the only bike with V3 engine I know is the Honda NS 400R - back to school...

Ye the arrow also doesn't bring up the engine light as far as I know, but the other exhausts do on the Triumphs

I love the Akrapovic's mid-revs sound but I must say the arrow without the DB Killer takes the cake for me.
I've just put the HP Corse on mine and it sounds awesome.
That's one of the best looking ones I think but I find it too loud unfortunately.
