You could probably use a knife or something to cut a slit in the skull for the dagger

It's a shame that they changed artists for the boxes, the other ones all had a distinct style and class from a really cool australian dude who has worked on so many big comics. Tristan Jones! He signed my Stalker predator box once in a comic store.

I just picked him up yesterday. I love wire framed soft goods capes and cloaks. I think shaman might've dethroned bad blood as my favorite predator.

@@jlre9900 I found him at fye along with the warrior predator. warrior was retail price but I had to do some slick discounts and coupons to get shaman down to retail price.

@@jlre9900 US. I live in MI. I'm actually surprised I found it since my local stores never get shit. fye does get some good rare stuff in but they charge scalper prices, like their black series and marvel legends are $40. target seems to usually get a lot of NECA stuff but predators take forever to get in.
Note that the blood on the knife has a brown coloring to it, meaning that it is dried, the skull is fresh

Shaman is class of itself. With mask.. he is deadliest.
I have my Shaman front and centre in my display now, he's too cool of a design to keep him in the back

I picked this figure up this morning, its a amazing figure. Only issue I had was the hip joint were it pegs through at the crouch. That was a easy fix with some hot water.

Been waiting for your review of the Shaman, nicely done! I ordered him back in early May, so I'm really looking forward to adding him to my display with the other tribe members. He has such a different look, like you said. The poncho with the skull mask is just evil looking, and you can't beat those original weapons.

Spot, an awesome figure. He was a must pick up. The details and concept for him are unique and special. The hair clasp I imagine is supposed to be wood and to me it gives that appearance. Cool. So much to like, definitely a stand out piece. Great review 👍
Absolutely love this figure and the poncho looks fantastic when I first saw this in the review just reminded me of the cowboy movies with Clint Eastwood both being baddasses in a poncho lol but yeah totally awesome I have to get this in the collection i have quite a few predators but this is so different neca are absolutely killing it we are constantly getting new stuff and just getting better and better 👍👍👍

Awesome, I can't wait to get mine. Though he only had a brief appearance on film Shaman is one of my favorite predators.
You should've taken the skull necklace and put it over the poncho. That way it looks super tribal and adds more detail.
Love it. Only thing is while on display with the helmet and “pancho” it didn’t look like a predator among the others. I prefer the regular head sculpt.
So the fact that the Native Americans referred to the Shaman Predator as a Wechuge most likely meant that he primary hunted in the Pacific Northwest

The smart disk and the shuriken are similar but completely different weapons
Yes the Shurikan has the extended finger length blades while the smart disc is more a sharpened frisby

It's interesting that your soft goods poncho was packed up in plastic. The two I saw at Walmart recently are already wearing the poncho (and helmeted head!) in-package. I guess they changed the retail release packaging at the last minute?
I've got this one and the lost predator definitely a fan of both great review man new to your channel and definitely enjoy your full in depth content keep it up!!

Hey review spot I checked the link u left in the comments and the figures r really expensive y don’t u buy of Walmart cuz they cost around 30$ bucks or can they be fake (I plan on buying this figure)
The two discs are the same, just one closed for storage and one open for either throwing or as a hand held weapon. Since they didn't update the skirt sculpting they didn't give us a storage option.
In general, I LIKE this figure but I have to admit that the skull mask is better in concept than execution and the poncho is kinds lame. No details and it covers so much of his sculpt. It would have been way cooler if they wanted to continue the skull theme to give him a rib cage styled upper torso armor but is also removable like the Boar Brothers upper torso armors.
That is one badass unique looking predator 💯💯😱🤯 I collect mostly 1/6 scale and a few NECA figures including Halloween and TMNT movie. I have zero predators but this figure is one that I really want. Great review as always Mr Spot 💯✅✅👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥

Interesting that he hunted Native Americans in the 19th Century, when he’s in the same clan as Greyback, who presumably hunted Naru or her descendants (given that he has the pistol she got from Raphael Adolini).

Honestly I don't like the skull-made masks just like the last movie, because where the hell they put all that hi-tech stuff inside the bone? I would prefer it with the normal head, that's me
Yeah I can understand where you're coming from on that, I liked the design of the new Predator from Prey but trying to understand how its able to see really didn't make a lot of sense, I like one or two of these Predators to have the look at least makes them unique from the regular go to type of Helmet, thanks for watching

NECA announced here while back that they are but they haven't released any more info yet.
I reckon we'll hear more after ultimate snake and elder are released.
Based on Shaman’s backstory, is he part of the clan that visited earth back in Prey?
To answer your question, shaman has been to earth around that particular period but it hasn't been determined if he played any part around the prey storyline. His visit or visits may have been separate events from the feral predator.
