This is a a 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe with 130,000km on the clock or just over 80,000 miles. The 993 Porsche was the very last air-cooled Porsche and this 1998 model is the very last year. The Carrera S is a very collectable car because it is just RWD, has the wider "Turbo" body and was sold in smaller numbers. This 1998 Carrera S has had the clutch replaced and a new suspension within the past 10,000kms.

The last years of the air-cooled are very special years indeed. My ‘87 Carrera definitely looks, drives and sounds like its from a different era. Porsche took a good car (a classic in it’s own rite) and fine tuned it’s fit/finish, modernized it’s body m and gave that air-cooled power plant it’s last life. I love them. Thanks for the video.

My fave. of all 911s - the 993. But with the current asking price in the six figures now, I can no longer afford them. However, I'm contemplating getting a 997.2 C4S.
