Just bought my 72 ford pinto last month, working on it has been a great joy and I’m excited to get it on the road. Your car is extremely similar to mine so I wish you the best on it. I’ll be following.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I'm really looking forward to fixing it up but first I want to get the mechanics working. I just found out a few days ago that the engine it toast. Looks like it was probably ran without oil. So, I'm trying to source another engine which are extremely scarce. Either way if you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. I have a nice garage that I could have put it in to work on it but my wife wouldn't give me her spot...😁. Either way thanks again and thanks for Subscribing! I really do appreciate it.
Hi thanks for watching and the Thumbs Up! It's going to be a nice project. If you haven't done so already please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
She definitely needs some TLC., reminds me of the '75 Pinto Squire I had, it had the V6 fully loaded with the sport package, sold it in '94 with 63,000 miles to a guy with the last name Pinto you can't make this stuff up lol
The footprint of those blocks you have it sitting on, is too small. The bottom block(s) could give way on that gravel. Put a one foot square piece of 1/2" plywood under each bottom wood block. More stability. You have your work cut out for you. That Pinto is a total wreck. Stay safe.
Hi thanks for watching the video and the comments. It's pretty stable but I will heed you advice and put some plywood under them. As you can tell I will be spending significant time under it. The next thing I have to do is get the engine going. One thing about the project is that I am going to take my time because I have a lot of other irons in the fire too. You're correct about it being a total wreck. Most people wouldn't even think about it. I may be in over my head but I going to try anyway. Either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and like my channel. I would really appreciate it. I have some other interesting stuff on my channel as well. Check them out and leave your thoughts in the comments.
Hi thanks for watching and the comments. Yeah I know. Ford issued a recall to help with that and this one has had that done. I had one when I was a much younger 18 year old and drove that little car everywhere... either way I think you may have already but if not please consider Subscribing and hitting the like button. I would really appreciate it!
@@NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS had one also, there is no fix. tank is in back of car, already sub you. My favorite thing about my pinto was you had to say it was a 1972 and a half or you got the wrong part. 1972 was different from the 1972 and a half. My friend had a pinto also and we joked about blowing up😀 It's like owning a pitbull. I drove it because I got it free as a teen

I will enjoy watching your progress. It's too bad you don't have a concrete pad under the car Good luck. I have subscribed.

Yep she needs a little help for sure! These cars are becoming more rare everyday. I appreciate your comments!
