Love, love, love this song and it's oh so important message! Even in the beginning when Steven is talking about how he doesn't have time to pray yet when tragedy strikes... all of a sudden he has the time! So unfortunately true for many of us, that God is only sought in times of trouble or when asking for 'things' as opposed to just seeking Him to know and learn of Him for who He is and not just what He can give/do for us. Reminding me that God has feelings too! And that He's more than worthy of our complete and utter devotion.
From start to finish, as a whole, I think this is SCC's best album. I was 18 when it was released, getting ready to graduate high school and head to college. The songs on this album have stuck with me for all these years. Thanks for posting.
The first song I ever heard by SCC back in the 80s. I have always been into grunge or hard rock both Christian and secular. I love Steven’s music. This is an awesome CD. I like his faster n rockier songs best. My favorite song of his is Bring it On and this one. Although I am a rocker I love slowing it down with artists like Steven, Wes King, Russ Taff, and Jeremy Camp to name a few. Doesn’t make sense that Christian rock isn’t played in the mix of other genres. I choose it first on playlists. The groups Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, And Red are among the best!
