I grew up in NA and that was long long while ago.. There a couple of cool diners on River Rd with the bowling alley with the bridge crossing over to Belleville.. The Garden Apartments and a host of great shops lined Ridge Rd that you missed. Along with the the massive park on River Rd. Have great memories of living there..not very big 2sq miles. Blink and you passed it.Thanks for taking me back there

Bill.. do a little homework before you go into small towns. There is a lot of history and interesting things. Such as many scenes of The Sopranos were filmed in North Arlington, such as Pizzaland Pizzaria.
I never lived there but spent a lot of time hanging out there when I was young. Still a great town, cool people, good food..
