could you please do some autofocus tests outside at low light to see if it's on part with the native sony 35mm 1.8
Easily the best review of these I have seen, straight to the point and the review is jokes as well.
The AF is great. It's slow and organic that mimics a natural focus pull
For a second I thought samyang made a mistake of choosing Vu as their ambassador and was expecting him to annihilate them.

This is the most underrated camera channel on the tube - perfect review. How would these lenses compare to regular stills lenses in the same focal range for photos?

I don’t think focus breathing in a lens is a negative. It helps draw attention to the object/person when racking focus. Lots of big budget films have scenes with heavy focus breathing.

@Azarul Aznan but the degree of the breathing is matter. I've use lenses that the breathing is so harsh and very annoying it bothers the visual I tried to show.

Nice review, not sure if you have gotten the chance to use in lowlight but, how is lowlight auto focus with the 24mm t1.9? Also, how would you rate the manual focus, is it better than the manual focus of a G-master? Really appreciate the content since not a lot of people are covering these lenses. Definitely looking forward to a long-term review.

Hi Vu, Camera shop in Vietnam confused me because they told me that Samyang V-AF 35mm is an E-mount lens, but it can not be used for Sony ZV E-10. But I saw Sony ZV E10 is Emount too. Can you explain?
It can be used for ZVE10. They don't know what they are talking about

Nice comparison. Looking closely, the Samyangs don't track AF as well as Sony natives, but perform well as one might expect for a third-party lens. Other than that, color and sharpness are indistinguishable. Where did you buy these?

Did you try manual focus? One reviewer said that you can use a follow focus as they are not fly by wire systems on the Samyang

Only thing I don’t like is the light indicators, Samyang is probably my only lens that eventually broke electronically. So I don’t need the lights to fail and screw up the lens.
You could configure the AF and MF settings using the $50 Samyang Lens Station and Lens Manager software

@@nVuFilms Samyang is currently having a 20% off Holiday sale. I'll wait until you do a full review. I want to know Color shifts, Fringe, Ghosting, Flares. I've seen a video compared to Sony, Samyang had Washed out colors and a yellowish Green Skin tone very noticeable in the video I saw. But it was not with these new cine lens. Hopefully they don't have such a tint on skin tones and other colors.

@@nVuFilms Very happy with these lenses and the review is pretty spot on. Really great tools for the bag if you have the need and appreciate the form factor/features of going down this route. Side note, these absolutely kill it my Ronin RS3 🙂

Could you please please test these on an FX6? I know the lenses work on mirrorless but I testen and early model of the 75 t1.9 last month at the dealer and it didn't work on the FX6. Same as other photography lenses with af like the 24 f.18 and sadly the 135 f1.8... Trey simply don't work on the FX6. It's almost as if Samyang has an embargo out to not test it on the FX6 because no one online speaks about the AF on a bigger body and only tests on mirrorless (And I know it's more likely to use it on a smaller budget on a a7 etc but the one mount should also work fine on the FX6)

35 Sony is slightly better with AF and chromatic abarration but we are splitting hairs. If you are also looking into getting the other Samyang v-af lenses then go with the Samyang

5:10 time stamp and for video focus issues with fast moving subjects and when subject is close to camera focus issue time stamp 8:23. So have you been seen the same results over there in you lab? What is the minimum focus distance etc thanks
