- Now this is the stage that everyone loves, and for good reason, it's awesome. The way Sima Yi deals with Cao Cao's soldiers just has so much style to it, I love it.
The stage itself is similar to Wu's version of this stage, but with Cao Cao having a full defense set up. You can take out the enemies at the gate and then go around to help the allies going around the side enter the castle. Later Xu Huang even appears from the side there and assists you. Once the first gate is broken you have an onslaught of officers to deal with along with fire damage lowering everyone's HP. Then after the second gate you have even more officers to defeat all at once before finally reaching Cao Cao.
The targets are pretty easy to do naturally, just focus on breaking the gates and taking bases and no enemies should get through to your main camp and no one should withdraw either.

Before DW7, the Jin dynasty finally broke through in the form of Sima Yi's invasion of Xu Chang in DW6, even if this sedition was fiction.
Who would've known we all see this side expanded so much further... the birth of Jin dynasty? This is where it began :)

Its too bad KoeiTechmo did not keep this graphic engine for its later series. I would have liked to see what it would have been like.
Unfortunately, Koei pandered way too much to the people whining about clones and Renbu, to the point that they scrapped DW6 along with all the good things it had to offer, and gave us DW7 which was a hot mess.

Megumi Bandicoot well Renbu was a crap combat system every character has a clone gun fact that’s not a expansion or a evolution also 7 is a better game combat was better story was best in the series and I loved this game as a kid and still do probably art style I. My opinion is the best in the series the level design is peak better than 8 and 7 also 9 definitely better in level design but compared to preivious and other games combat it’s weak and renbou would be a good idea if you could chain many combos but you couldn’t do all you have to do is hit 🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪🟪 and win it’s mindless in my opinion best combat is in 7 best game is 4 this game is just disappointing only because of its cloning and combat system also just to point out this game has 40 characters only and only what 7-12 of them have their own weapons that’s only 5 percent of the roster also that meant that some iconic weapons were removed like you know zhange he claws or cao pi’s sword also some characters who got more weapons in the ps2 not on nextgen consoles only on last gen this is not terrible game it’s only a disappointing game could have been the best ended up being the lamest Cause I love it it’s levels iconic character models the best ever weapons look sleek not the best in combat but best by looks and ideals love the dad he ability love the choices of some character wars pins mostly zhao yu love his staff better than his sword and 6 has his best design he looks cool In 4 he looks like a nun and dint like it this game is unfortunate if it got rereleased with a alternate combat system I’d give it a nine out of ten I also loved this version of musou but either version is fine by me.

@@vasily3127 Yes, they could added more story modes. Like DW 5, everyone had a Musou mode, why they didn't keeped this for DW 6??? It would be perfect.
They played Zhang He dirty in DW6, he was never a traitor and was always loyal to the Wei until its last breath, his death was in fact caused by Sima Yi’s terrible planning under Wei, he shouldn’t have been brought as a traitorous general.
In DW8, it was revealed that even Sima Yi loyal to Wei, but only to Cao Cao and Cao Pi. Not to their successors whom he stated unworthy
Even his character makes me don't want to play, but his combat was sick.

Since the cutscene in dynasty warriors 3, it always seemed like it was a trio of Sima Yi, Zhang He and Xu Huang
So. Now i look at this, Zhang he make replace of Zhong Hui and Xu Huang of Deng Ai.
But yeah this is the Best Sima Yi by far.
I remember the days I used to pass this gate. Tear it down! Along with the memories!!!

This was the last time Sima Yi felt important in the Wei story until DW9. I sometimes even forgot about him in DW8.

So If you analize the King of Shu Fails after the zhuge liang Dragon finally sleep (Dies)in wu zhang plains. The Army of wu definiteley fails after betray wu at fan castle With all his generals dies at the battle of Xu Chang thanks of that betrayal So Sun Jian gets killed by cao cao Sun ce Dies by cao cao too and the Failing strategies of Sun Quan Lead to the final blow at the He Fei castle then wu retreat to Jian dong when after that defeat Wu dessapear. Meanwhile Liu bei is trying to save the Remains of Shu His last general Zhao Yun gets defeated and with Liu bei death Shu gets exterminated. Sima Yi after Kill Cao Cao sells China to the Jin Dynasty And is the only one that survive the 3 kingdoms period. And Die by natural causes

I'd say DW6 was alright for other charecters and was ok at the very least. DW7 was the most accurate and best story teller as well as emotional. DW8 had the best gameplay and cutscenes. DW9 has nothing good at all, especially with those rubbish voice actors
