Let's journey together! - บันเทิง
Lamu is enchanting, definitely the most beautiful serene place I have ever visited will recommend it to anyone
It's so beautiful, I now understand why you fell in love with everything from Lamu
Enchanting is the word...
Absolutely true. I remember my visit with nostalgia.
Thankyou I love my home born and raised I’m currently in Philadelphia ❤❤
You know the feeling you get when you discover your favorite food? That's what my experience was shooting this project , I couldn't have enough of the drone shots I kept shooting ,blue skies , blue waters ,good vibes . Not hitting the like button would be an injustice to this video 😁 cheers guys
The shot with the dhow… so authentic Lamu..👌🏿👌🏿👍🏿
@@Be-Rean wow thank you bro
Cost for a three day stay in lamu
Hi traveler
The Arabs found those Swahili city state already thriving.Too much credit is given to Arabbs.
Very true, as a coastarian I agree with you.
Guys thanks alot... Its means alot for me and am proud to see people praising my home place.. Welcome again. Karibuni tena
Asante
Omar Lali! Legend! Icon! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
As usual another breath taking video.u and wodemaya inspired me so much to start a utube channel. My channel is still in its infancy state.i don't know anything about utube.but u inspired me because india is also very negatively stereotyped by the media like Africa. I have been asked weird questions about india when traveling abroad. U and wodemaya showed me the real Africa
Wow! We need to change our own Narrative that has been destroyed for centuries.
Its your job to tell the world your story, it will be well received. All the best to you; the world is your oyster.
@@cn-yg6vf thanks
How did I miss this place?!
When you come back you should, it's a must visit place with lots of history.
@@AfrikanTraveller I will!
Michele ponte I was really looking forward to you visiting lamu after you visited malindi and the next thing I knew you left kenya😒
You were only thinking of " Little Italy " Malindi....🤣
Karibu Lamu I’m born and raised there currently in Philadelphia inshaAllah maybe this summer I need to go
Lamu is calling
Come to Lamu atleast one time it’s so magnetic
The videography here is very good. Very good. I think the ministry of tourism in Kenya needs to start paying these youtubers (they're doing more for tourism than any government official out there is doing)
If they go back to Lamu, I think it would be interesting to hear the stories of the people in Mpeketoni that survived the alshabab attack (Mpeketoni itself has an interesting history -- Kenyatta resettled lots of Kikuyu's there in the 60's and 70's) and that created some tense situations with the locals and I believe it was one of the reasons why it was picked by alshabab for their attack.
do they really care....leo wanataka kujua maombi ya ruto na raila ni gani inaweza kuliko ya mwingine!
There is a grave need to reevaluate the tourism industry in Kenya.
Heaven is not a place you go after death its a place you visit while still alive! Lamu Tamu!
A must visit place.
Lamu is so Underrated. I don't even know why Guys Prefer Mombasa Over Lamu.
Wow😳😳😳😳 Kenya has a bit of everything
We gat it all 😊😊😊
Spent three weeks there in 82, paid 5 bucks a night for a roof top apartment...special place, still remember Petleys...
Among the first here. Lamu is extremely beautiful. You have to experience it yourself.
Hahaha Kabisa
Beautiful place. Truly breathtaking. But please translate for us non Swahili speakers.
Lamu old town! Words can never be good enough for this place. It's also a UNESCO world heritage site. The mode of transportation is boat, donkey or on foot.
Omari is the 1st Kenyan nimesikia hana simu, but it sounds like by choice. Definitely will remember that name and I won't believe when someone tells me he died or travelled away 😂😂😂😂 that was funny.
Always getting to see nice places in Kenya 🇰🇪 through your lens 👁
Appreciate alot Bro
😍❤.... 'and then he created Kenya' Watu wetu, make sure you watch all the ads to keep these guys going. They are doing a magnificent job.
Was in Lamu two weeks ago. Flew in by skyward airline. Sailed from Airport Manda island to Lamu town, then to Mokowe jetty. Toured Hindi town and Mpeketoni. A wonderful trip I would recommend to wanderlust peeps!
Wow, they have made the most of their natural resources: wood, stone and coral to build a unique town.
Whoa I like how you have showcased the best out of Coast Lamu Kenya. Such a beautiful place to be, can't wait to show the world too. Nice footage
Karibu sana
There are times when you walk the narrow streets of towns like Lamu, Mombasa old Town or Malindi and it feels like you're not even in Africa
It feels like you're in Kenya when walking 😂it looks gorgeous
Hizi ndo vitu tunataka kuona, sio mambo ya Nairobi mara Eastleigh... Kenya ipo na historia tele...
It's a movie. This was a well done video, historical journey, sights, sounds, drone shots, editing. Good job!
Thanks for appreciating.
Ah man my favourite town in Kenya! The people, the culture, the food, the history. Walking through the town feels like a walk through the museum, if you ever get a chance to visit Kenya, Lamu should be on your itinerary!
this place is a treasure and should be protected at all costs!
When we can travel again I will be on that flight to +254!
Loving the channel man! Keep showing the positive beauty of Kenya and it's people!
Ah yes the Dhow sunset cruise magical! I will definitely book in with the Swahili elder stateman Mr Omari! Mwambie atupatie number yake ya WhatsApp so we can hook him up when we're in Lamu Tamu!
Wacha Kenya yetu ipande majuu kabisa Asante sana! 👊🏿
This place is magical, huku lazima nirudi
The drone shots are dope. Especially the floating restaurant and the ocean shots are just on another level. Keep up the great work 👍🏽. Watching from DXB.
Anyone like me scrolling through to first find Omar Lali then restart watching FR when done. We love you Lali, tuonyeshe night life sasa😆
After watching three of your videos. All I can say is You are the most underrated Kenyan TH-camr. Your content is TOPS!!! The drone shots, the tone of the music, your narrations are so good. Keep up the good work.
When you do my kind of content, it's timeless. If the current Generation will not appreciate the future will. Am in no hurry ☺️
@@AfrikanTraveller you're right, you'll flourish spectacularly
You are 💯% correct! African Traveler is the best videographer; his contents and his skill with the camera and the drone is very advanced; its like a documentary film. If I didn’t know that he’s a TH-camr, I would think he’s an established video journalist. I’ve just finished binge watching his videos.
Y’all please support this brother’s work, he’s very much underrated even though he’s a far much better with his camera shots and videos than most of the other African Influencer.
Ilikua lazima Omar Lali,to make a special appearance.Lamu bila yeye hujafika Amu.
Kabisa
Thanks AT, you keep getting better, Lamu was never on my bucket list but thanks to you it now is💪🏽👏
You should have it on your bucket list.
Great coverage. It would have been really good to give us a rough estimate cost for a trip to Lamu Island. Accommodation, tour guide, food, boat rides etc, so one can budget for a trip there. All the same, you have given us an excellent introduction to the island. Asante.
Lamu is quite expensive especially on accommodation. I have been there three times and I could not afford to stay for more than three days. That is downside of tourism in in Kenya take loads of money.
@@jackmuraguri1836 Bummer...i was there for peanuts before it became a hot tourist spot.
'Jambojet disrupts Lamu route with low prices' - The Star reports "Jambojet has announced plans to begin operations from Nairobi to Lamu via Mombasa four times weekly, starting September 15 bringing competition to the route which continues to record increased traffic.
The Island has become a beehive of activities since operations at the new port started, with jobs for port officials, KRA, banks, clearing and forwarding firms, shipping companies, and a number of other state agencies setting base in Lamu.
A one-way Nairobi-Lamu ticket on Jambojet will go for as low as Sh7,100 and a Return ticket 14,200. Skyward Express is currently flying at Sh7,950 O/W and Safarilink that has been operating on the Nairobi-Lamu route since 2004 will charge Sh19,900, on a return ticket on the route on September 15.
Passengers flying from Mombasa to Lamu, the Jambojet spokesman said will pay Sh4,600 on a one-way ticket.
I have flown with Skyward several times and their flight as always been 6999KES One way I have never paid more or maybe cause I book on Tuesdays
Afrikan Traveller you and josh should consider to reach out to the government tourism board to work for them the content is really top tier
The best Lamu video so far! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you.
One of the best videos of Lamu I've seen so far and deserves upwards 100k views, if it does not surpass that target then TH-cam algorithm is biased.
I agree
We need to like and share as a way to help the algorithm.
Very nice Video. The editing, OMG! 🙌🔥 Much love from TZ 🇹🇿
