- Destiny 2 Into The Light
Edge Transit is an insane damage option. Infact it is the best heavy weapon we currently have for damage. And some of the perk setups available are ranging from fantastic total damage, the best burst dps and even a deconstruct roll which is the easiest damage rotation in game and still puts out more than pretty much every other weapon.
Edge transit being a void heavy GL which features bait and switch a lot as its main damage perk other void weapons will complement this well. The one I used a lot in this video is the wilderflight available from the dungeon spire of the watcher I have a video on it linked here ( • This Weapon Will Be ME... ). Other options are available but this is the best of the bunch.
Other gear used is a basic solar warlock well of radiance setup with the artifact mod revitalizing blast to cause solar abilities to weaken the target. The supremacy used has the perks enhanced rewind rounds and enhanced kinetic tremors. The exotic used is rain of fire, which reloads all weapons upon activating icarus dash.

It was only a month or two ago when everyone thought deconstruct was a trash perk.

@ringomandingo1015 I was always curious about the perk to see what the ammo regen could do. But I'll admit not enough to explore it until when into the Light was revealed.

cascade point and envious preload allows you to empty the base reserve in 1 single BnS proc (assuming you have all 24 grenade loaded properly)

yea but with the recent trend bungie has had of health gated raid bosses, you probably won't ever be getting the chance to shoot of all those shots on a deconstruct roll. Still an absolutely busted roll i would love to have if the gun existed .-.
@@handing6213 you can get cascade point on the left to dump all the ammo more efficiently. You lose a good reload perk so you still have to reload or do some rain of fire type reload cheats

Saw this video , opened the trophy chest one (1) time and got myself a sticky - cascade - deconstruct roll . Pretty stoked , will need more time to experiment with it .

I got an explosive light and cascade point Edging Transit. And then an envious assassin with EL too.
Been trying to get a cascade point bait and switch roll for ages now. I really wanna have it for some fun Izi swap rotations. Thus far I've gotten several duplicates of various different rolls, and I believe I've gotten every roll combination apart from the one I want.
(I still don't want crafting tho. There are better ways to do bad luck protection that do not invalidate all other drops of a weapon, such as being able to change one perk for every 20 of a given weapon you drop)
Man, I finally got a deconstruct roll and it came with Envious
My best roll is chain reaction and deconstruction. It’s a solid roll
It seems to me like deconstruct and sticky nades is crazy good because of the damage it can do without needing a rotation
Its really nice because of the simplicity, also it can be used as ad clear too since the ammo economy is so strong

ive gotten 3 edge transits and one of them has double perks being cascade point or envious, and frenzy or explosive light

im rocking envious assassin + explosive light. Once I hit 5-6 stacks it one taps literally any yellow bar and the extra mag overflow makes me feel like lore accurate guardian.
You realise explosive light x1 does the same as x6..... right..?

I managed to get a cataphract with envious, BnS + cascade point. How do the 2 compare to each other in damage or are they both similar?
Cascade + Deconstruct with sticky nades seems to be weird as your speed of shots is too high. this seems to make deconstruct proc less often
I’ve got the Envious/Cascade+Bait roll if you’re still looking for damage numbers.
You can use izanagi with cascade, just have a holster and dump the x4 and a x1 for two crits

Yeah this is a neat interaction, can use special reloads like rof or thread of ascent too for this
Or use izi and a secondary 140 with 4ttc vorpal (or similar) which will also proc b&s which is a great swapping option with izi even after running out of gl ammo

I have this roll 😂😂😂 I just wasn’t using the stickies. It was already badass without it.
While this is the case most of the time it isn't for raid DPS once you consider ghally buffs apex DMG by roughly 60% for the entire party.
I have a deconstruct/envious assassin. Deconstruct def proc with the base mags. I almost want to say it proc twice. I gotta do more testing. But for sure with the base mags. Smh only 1 shiny. Do u have to do legend to get more shines?! 😪
The legend rate in shiny is the same, and that rate being absolutely terrible xD. but you do get twice the loot per 10 waves so its faster overall

Sticky only helps for decon so spike here, mag boosting perks are good too since they also increase the max envious overflow

absolutely yes. sticky enhances the interaction, it's not the be all end all enabler. it's like getting an autoload/frenzy (or vorpal) mtop with no good mag options and people saying "is this still worth?" yes. yes it is still worth. a couple % of damage is not going to be a difference of more than 10-20k out of multiple millions of dps.
I would still keep the roll. But stick grenades are a must for deconstruct. Sticky makes decon proc more often = more free ammo. I think the god godroll would be cascade / field prep for deconstruct. Since you can increase reserves and also we can enhance the perks in final shape.
I had a sticky grenade, envious assassin and deconstruct.. I hit 6mil against the final boss of warlord ruin dungeon.. 2mil above the next player and 4 mil against the last
Deconstruct still applies with envious assassin if the mag size hasn't reached its highest point so for me that'll be 14 or 18
Did they change it recently? I thought it only proc’d on the base mag size

i do 5 to 7 mil just with lucky pants/malfeasance and void tether
I do 0 dmg with edge transit when someone moves infront of me during a damage phase and I die. And for that reason i dont use heavy GL.
I have the ultimate roll. Foil roll with BnS or Deconstruct and Cascade or Envious, with Alloy casing or Sticky nades. No spike or minifrags but oh well.

Id pretty much always go with tremors so long as its enhanced so that it activates in 2 shots

i have one with deconstruct cascadepoint and sticky grenades, does this still work? also it has a blast radius masterwork am i better off not masterworking it because of the decrease in damage it does to direct hits?

ive prob got over 100 rolls of it and yet still no sticky decon, the ONLY roll im missing, ive got a shiny spike minifrags envious cascade bns exp light w velocity mw TWICE, (yeah the exact same roll except different mw levels on drop, i wonder what are the odds on that) but not the one i want, bungo pls

Shiny weapons have 2 perk options in columns 3 and 4 but the stats and everything else are the same

Sticky/Deconstruct whilst not the best, it is the easiest to do allowing you to run anything else in the other slots. I hate using breech GL's in my loadout so having the option to have on sunshot and 1-2 shotgun build on titan is huge.
Outdamaged everyone on nez master runs last night with Cascade and Decon, got through all 50-60 ISH shots in a damage phase and did well over 3.4 mill damage

Using Rain of Fire, reloads all weapons when you Air dodge and kills with fusion/linear fusion weapons make you radiant
My only goal for Into the Light is a shiny Edge Transit with Envious & Cascade/Bait and Switch

It gets a damage bonus against vehicles and restores ammo at an increased rate but works against everything

In 6 man activities if you all have a good rocket rotation with a gally its around on par, but for all 3 man or below heavy gls are absolutely the way to go now

Only the golden variant with both envious and cascade available. I imagine it will just be if you swap off envious the mag is reset to default. None of the other ones will be nerfed

@@LiterallyAna so recently they did a gigantic buff to caster frames, 160%. And so all of em are pretty neat but the one that is insane comes out of Warlord’s ruin. Roll deadass does not matter all you need is an Izzy’s or a witherhoard, maybe a damage dealing special or not, and just do a basic rotation while adding some of those sword shots.
