    Here in Europe there are many 3rd party Nesspreso pods. And some of those include tea. You can also just run the Nesspreso (at least the CitiZ machine I have can) without a pod and you'll have hot water.

    Most people get shitty coffee from a keurig because they don’t clean the needle properly, using cheap k cups, brewing 10-12oz cups, not using filtered water, and not using the strong button.. the new Keurig’s such as the K supreme plus have the multi stream technology where it saturates more of the coffee grounds which means better tasting coffee. If you have an old Keurig you won’t be getting the same flavor, it’s not the same as the newer models. Not saying it taste like a fresh espresso shot from a breville or nespresso machine but it’s definitely not bad coffee. I personally use The original donut shop K cups on my k supreme and the flavor is delicious.

    • @MichaelFerreraStyleYourLife
      @MichaelFerreraStyleYourLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      All of these are true facts @Victor taking care of the machine really helps. I still think all things equal clean machines the Nespresso machine is stronger and better coffee. Do you like really strong coffee Victor?

      Also the older Keurig's seem to heat the water hotter, which makes the coffee taste better too. Now there are new Keurig's with temperature control features.

  • @OsAbliNgin911
    @OsAbliNgin911 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Nespresso is for folks who like European style coffee, which is usually strong and dark roast. Keurig can make really good coffee now. I mean the new Keurig machines have bold feature or multistream technology to make more flavorful and strong coffee. What is funny is if you use filtered water you get a better tasting cup of coffee from Keurig. It is night and day. You won't believe you are drinking coffee from a Keurig.

    I have that same Keurig 2.0. You do NOT have to wait for it to heat after the initial filling of water. It preheats the reservoir so you can actually make back-to-back cups. It does eventually have to reheat the water but all coffee makers do. The Keurig is fast so it take less than 30 seconds. Just an fyi. Thanks for your video.

      Good move for you. I do think the coffee taste better here, but I don't think you made a bad move. Quality coffee you can get with the Keurig at less than 20¢ a cup 👍 but with Nespresso were taking 5 times as much a cup minimum. There's still some wins you have.

    • @danfromzr3289
      @danfromzr3289 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I heard it’s a gimmick from another source. The nespresso is programmed for every different pod. The k cup doesn’t do that. So only k brand pods taste the best.

  • @Victoria-bl4tw
    @Victoria-bl4tw 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I have both. Not crazy about the very strong taste of most Nespresso cups. Also, the artificial crema is a little over-the-top. I had found one I liked which was Giorno but was discontinued so the machine sat idle for a while. I recently bought a Keurig after my experience at a local business offering complimentary Keurig coffee. It was mild and really enjoyed so I took the plunge. It took a while to replicate the flavor. Oddly enough filtered water worked better than bottled and finally got a nice taste.
    One of my family members prefers the Nespresso and recently ordered some sleeves to have on hand. I was also sent the complimentary pods (2) which I decided to try and must say I liked one of the two much better than any others. With that said I ordered a sleeve for a change of pace.

    I recently purchased two Keurig K-Supreme ( Gray & Ruby Red) but haven’t used it yet. You are so convincing that I may send both Keurigs back ( haven’t made a final decision yet) & price the Nespresso. I had a keurig in the past & got rid of it because for me it was not making my coffee hot enough & none of the coffee pods I tried was strong enough. This Nespresso sounds like it can be a winner. If you know or hear about a super discount please let me know thank you.

      I had ordered the Supreme Plus but sent it back immediately. The number of negative reviews I read after ordering were astounding not to mention a class action lawsuit alleging that the machine is defective. I didn’t want to take a chance and ordered instead the K155 which seems to be a better machine than the Supreme. Either way, I’m inclined to believe that Nespresso machines are better built but at this time I was looking for the milder taste of the Keurig.

    • @MichaelFerreraStyleYourLife
      @MichaelFerreraStyleYourLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Honestly, maybe. I don't think it is as much "leaking coffee" as it is letting out excess water or steam before I brew a new cup of coffee or espresso. I would say about 15-20 drops of water that but not leaking coffee. It's also not random, it's only before using the machine and the previous used pod exits to the back. Kinda weird right? But still all good.

  • @Wulfdane
    @Wulfdane 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The best thing about Kurieg is it’s variety of coffees, tea, hot chocolates and K-cups are everywhere. The downside to Kurieg, because of the way it’s made it’s always going to be a little watery at best.
    Nespresso is much more flavorful due to the way it’s made and better quality ingredients. The downside is, it’s more expensive with less variety and for a lot of people they’ll have rely on buying from the Nespresso store/shipping.
    The price difference between the cost of pods bs K-cups isn’t that much of a difference - it’s the start-up cost.
    Personally I don’t mind because I love a good cup of coffee or expresso and so for more it’s worth the extra effort.

      @@chrisburgess6964 FYI that is why Nespresso cannot out sell Keurig or become extremely popular in the USA. Keurig is for people who like coffee. The Nespresso was actually created for rich folks who like the rich coffee experience not for average folks, which is why it was more pricey from the start. Europeans love Espresso and darker roast coffee. Hence why we get the term French Roast and Italian Roast. Most Americans don't care about all that stuff. They just love coffee, and not using high end coffee. Also you don't need a special grind to use own coffee in Keurig, but you do in the Nespresso. High end coffee actually taste good using the Keurig. I enjoy my high end coffee from my Keurig.

    My Nespresso experience was great the first several months, then after three machine replacements and constantly trowing coffee away due to a burned taste, I gave up. Yes, the Nespresso was some of the best coffee I have had , but what good is "great" coffee is you can't drink it. Toward the end, I'd say about half my Nespresso coffee cups were not very good due to the machine. I got tired of spending so much money for poor tasting coffee. Nespresso is not cheap. The last thing Nespresso did was send me some free coffee pods for my trouble, except, I no longer have the Nespresso machine. I use a different coffee now and I am happy. No burned taste, imagine that. You may have a better experience.

    Great coffee, by far the better ones, but their machines are very poor
    in quality considering the cost of everything. Good coffee with a poor
    machine is like a ten-cent tie on a thousand-dollar suit.. I bought two
    machines and they both broke. They were good with fixing the first one
    (twice), but the second one was a miss and I ended up spending a lot of
    money on coffee that was wasted due to the machines. I say at the end
    of my three year experiment, I might have lost about $40-$50 dollars on
    capsules that were ruined due to poor machine performance. If their
    machines would work and last, they'd be the way to go. I bought a Moka
    pot and a French press and have been much happier. Their customer
    service was okay-good. They just could not fix the broken second
    machine I had bought. We were very happy at the start. Just my
    experience with Nespresso.
