It pisses me off when people slag off Ringo's voice. OK, he may not have a great range, but within his comfortable range he has a great voice, very distinct and recognisable as no other but Ringo.
"Weigh of the World" (tears). A True Beatles Song by The Master Ringo Starr. This is a Beatles Song play expertly by all involved here. Thank You, Sir Ringo!!!!!!! I needed to hear this Song. Another in the Annuals of The Beatles!!!!!
In Liverpool in the early Sixties, Ringo was the best-known musician of any of the Beatles, having performed with Rory Storm and other musicians. He was a natural for Pete Best's replacement.
Great to hear him performing 'Weight of the world'. Takes me back to listening to his radio 1 interview in the morning on April 6th 1992 (That evening I attended George Harrison's Natural Law party gig at the albert Hall in London - Ringo said he wouldn't be on stage, but he was asked by George and so he did)
He sure does still have it. He'll be 75yrs old this summer. He's a very young man in mine, body, soul, and spirit. Like you, I love You're 16. Rock on Ringo!

"You either kiss the future or the past goodbye." Beautiful.

Love the lyrics. The weight of the world will take you down. We were born for so much more.
God is so good❤️
Love this, been a fan since the Beatles became known, as a school girl!! Love you Ringo!!
"He's asked us to have another house, but we're really quite happy..."--Ringo's mum, Elsie Gleave
Dad was trucking' along at a fast pace.
English pubs are such fun! Loved playing darts there.
Even though this documentary is old, it is very informative. My first time seeing this.
amazing how realllly HUGE they became!!!!!!! supernatural!
Wow! Ringo seemed like a cool person. Well balanced. I'm sure Julian Lennon wished he had a father like him or George Harrison.
ringo deffo got more full of himself with age, look at him now - opining about the joys of Brexit all the while being a millionaire living in the USA

Why do they need so many guitars...?
First World Problem: too many guitars in an awesome guy's show
