One of those tools that you'll probably never use. Until you're repairing/refurbishing something and need just that tool! So now you have one if/when you need it. And it's cute too! 😀
I show that on the how to channel. This channel is just for easy watching. The other channel is where I do all of the teaching and demonstration. th-cam.com/video/zsYT7EDdGNw/w-d-xo.html
May I suggest making a small cut in the middle to give a visual reference of how far the plane has traveled into the wood? That way you simply draw a line across the front and then make your move into the wood. With the slot there you can judge how far the plane has traveled.
Love the video but the nose squeak and all that huffing and puffing into the mic is so annoying for me. I really have to try and ignore it while watching the videos. Keep at it, I’m still subscribed but the mic setup needs work.
Adding the smile was absolutely the right thing to do.
Nice work. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎

Cool! What is the WD40 applied to epoxy at 5:22 doing? I've never seen that technique.
I could be wrong, but it looks like accelerator spray for super glue (CA glue).
It is CA accelerator

Did I miss something about the WD40 spray? Why, what for? But an interesting video even if I’m unlikely to use it myself.
Cyanoacrylate activator?
Just used as cutting fluid when filing the brass pins I think.
It is not WD40. It is activator for the CA glue.
@@WoodByWright thanks for the info.
