Goes without saying singing them breathy supported and open also helps if ur going for that “angelic” sound. I just figured this out recently and shit sounds heavenly. My dumbass didn’t pay attention to those old school RNB backing vocal style

Hey brother quick question im hoping you can help me with.. do you think the fabfilter plugins are worth getting when using cubasis3 ios, or would you say that the waves plugins are enough to get a professional sounding vocal mix?
Hey man, just stumbled over your comment and thought I would share my opinion. Personally I think the FabFilter EQ is unbeatable.
- Different modes (Zero Latency (For recording) / Natural Phase / Linear Phase (Doesn't mess up the phase)
- Sidechain option. It's possible to sidechain a signal into the eq and sidechain it. For example you can sidechain your main vocal signal into the background vocal eq and take out the side information everytime the mainvocal is playing.
- The dynamic eq is also way better responsive than any other EQ (again my opinion :D )
- Many other features. Search on youtube for functions no one knows about the Pro EQ3 and you'll get a ton of information about the plugin.

does anyone know why when I try to to punch over lets say my Lead vocals or try to stack vocals the autotune starts to act wierd ? I feel i didnt setup my mix rack correclty, can someone help? ive been searching for videos for weeks still doesnt show how to correcly setup/route your track in the right slots.. ive been trynna record over a month now and its been holdin me back..
If you're doing that in fl studio, your vocals are gonna sound off tune if more than one vocal is routed to a mixer track.
So route your vocals in different mixer tracks with their respective autotune👌🏾
