Glad you went out on the holiday!! I love to see that chipping up close! If I had that toy at home, only river ice could keep me from playing with it!!!!! Blanked yesterday on an over hang. Started to get out now, healing up !! Let’s see the toy this week!!!
Cool drilled weight.

Damn those Riffs on that geeetar got me roaring to go dig....nice boat💪
Thanks you for sharing your knowledge!! It is one thing to watch a video with someone recovering amazing artifacts; however, it provides so much value to people like myself when you explain why you are sifting specific areas. When you explain the features you look for when you are pinpointing a site it provides someone like myself the ability to recognize new sites here in Alabama utilizing this data. I love seeing the artifacts recovered but what I appreciate the site breakdown and the clean up when you explain the points in detail. Most of the points are different from what I find here in AL; however, the areas they chose to live is very similar. This information added diversity with areas I now successfully hunt and I am discovering more sites with more success. GREAT VIDEOS!!!
You are welcome. I hope you had a nice Labor Day weekend.
The yikes factor went off the charts with that huge rock in the dump hanging over that hole.....Man!....but you got some nice marbles and some nice artifacts and that black point on the river. No need to apologize for your hands shaking, you just put in more hard work than 2 of most men. Fantastic work, take care!
I moved from that spot.....it was just scary. But I moved down the hill to another flat on the side of the hill and REALLY REALLY got into marbles. They are everywhere. I will have on another marble video within 24 hours
Excellent day on the river and on the marble dump buddy. Love that net weight. Looks like there may be some older keepers under that huge rock too. Good luck and stay safe.
Mr. Cousteau, you seem to produce the best adventure and discovery videos. I especially like your discovering items in old landfills.
Yea...I like digging those marbles for sure. I will go back there later today and go for a few more. That spot I was in by that rock has the mables
Wow what a comforting tranquility my friend, that point is beautiful and marbles will always be part of everyone's life in one way or another. I was glad to greet you my friend. Take care. I thought I was going to see your flying kayak, but don't forget this, it is also wonderful to walk through life slowly. Take care.
Thanks Buddy. Hope you are having a nice weekend with your family
Nice finds👍👍👍👍🏹
Awesome rocks! My buddy found a net sinker like that..i wondered if that was what it is..ive only found one with a hole in it, most of the ones ill see are about the size of a pack of cigarettes or smaller with 2 v knoches cut out of it across from each other..nice to learn what all there is..great video!
Yeah that new phone so crisp and clear it’s awesome thanks buddy
Hi Rocks, great video. Great finds. The head you found with the crown and cross on top of it, that's the Virgin Mary. She has been shown like that besides just the vail. After she gave birth to Jesus the old catholic statues has the crown. Very spiritual meaning for you. Your protected. Thanks sunshine some information for you. Later, Joy. ARROW*🎱. 🙏. ♥️
Love the new music
Thanks James

Not a huge day of finds but you did find enough to make a great video. An that's what matters the most. The new ride is a game changer as well. I know your loving it. Can't wait to see ya on some new locations finding alot more native artifacts an maybe even some new dump sites as well. Never can have to many places to go to. That's for sure. It's getting that time of the year when it will be cooling down so that will be a plus for you also. Enjoyed the video rock as always. Stay safe brother an as always safe an happy hunting/digging. Tomorrow is a new day for more awesome finds my brother. Later. 😁👍👍
I tried to post a comment on your last video when you were out with your new kayak, but it wouldn’t post. It was really nice seeing you put it together and running it. Now, the river is all yours to explore. Good luck on your next trip.

How do you know what kind of marbles you are finding? Do you have a identity book for them?
Also where do you know where dump sites are where you can go look??
Every town before 1960 did not have trash pick up. The towns dumped someplace. For glass marbles you want late 1920's to 1960's trash. Not many good bottles in those layers....but all the good marbles are. When you get back to the early 1900;s 90% of the marbles are clay...and they do not have much value. Some of the glass marbles can be worth hundreds of dollars. The best place to identify marbles that is easy is on the site link below this......if you ask anyone over 70 years old.....they will remember where the "Town Dump" was. My dad is 72 and he told me right where to find these places.....because his family dumped on them when he was a kid.
www.marblecollecting.com/
everything you will need to identify about any marble you will find is on this site
@@rockscousteau thank you. I just got my arrowhead indentification book. I have only found about 40 but they come from the same site at my Grandparent's home place.
Thanks for replying back to me.
by the way nice find
Far, far better pics. The new phone makes a great difference. What kind of phone is it? Nice marbles. Another great video. Stay safe Rock. Would the red and blue swirl be considered a superman ?
Yea....it is a game changer on closeups
Thats red and blue is killer.
Yea...I like it too. I do not find many like that.
I enjoyed the video as always. Only complaint is no squirrel man and the sudden change in volume when you go from music in the beginning to video and at the end. I don't know if its my TV or the way you edit it but its just a little hard on my ears (probably to much time being yelled at in the military and grateful dead concerts haha) and im in a condo where all of neighbors work so i try and be as respectful as possible.
Its not a huge deal i just thought you might want some feedback. Its meant to be constructive although i don't always do a good job when i write out comments/feedback and not be annoying troll like comments.
Anyways look forward to seeing you out on a camping trip in the motorized kayak. I love seeing others camping equipment. I'm a bit of a gear nerd/junkie when it comes to equipment. Plus i'm trying to go a little easier on my body and that stuff can help make being out in nature more enjoyable if you have health issues. Good luck on the next hunt.
Rocks, how can you tell from a super close up that a point is made by someone nowadays?
Where did you get that sifter? I made my own, it works, but isn’t going to last forever.
It is an dishwasher screen for a big automated dishwasher --It is a silverware tray
Got a smoker there
The queen lost her head
haha yea. It stinks that was broken. Would have looked awesome in the cover image
I could’ve been Henry the eighth’s wife and you found her head
hahaha....yea....I would have liked that item the best of the entire day......it would have been cool. But most of those figurines....I find either the body or the head......this was cool one for sure
Where does one buy a screen like that? Great arrowhead! Nice marbles. I think that head with the crown was suppose to be Jesus at about age 13. Our Catholic friends can probably verify that. Later.
Kathie Ware Hi, that is a tray from a bread vendor. Look for an independent vendor of bread. Company ones , the worker can get fired, if he gives you or sells you one. I was a receiver in a supermarket. I checked these guys in every day. That’s definitely a bread tray to transport to stores. Hope this helps.
Thanks Joyce. That's interesting!👍
Is the square bottom with holes also plastic?
It is an industrial dishwasher screen for the big dishwashers. It is a silverware tray. It works with a dishwasher with the rollers...and you just slide it down the line into the dishwasher
It is all plastic.....molded from one piece. You can contact dishwasher sellers online and they can find you one. Amazon has had them in the past.
wheres the mokai your out in your old kayak whats up with that
The close ups of the artifacts really adds to the video. Beautiful marble finds too.
