- Rio Bravo MX hosted the HMG Ride Day and Monster Energy SX Watch Party
While we were there I wanted to provide some updates to my last review video of the facility ( • Review of Rio Bravo MX... ) and get some more track footage.
Some crazy crashes that day including my friend doing a front flip on my KX250 and another guy ending up in a ravine. Moto-family to the rescue with pulling him out safely!

Appreciate the update. Still deciding where I am going tomorrow to ride. Either Murphy's or Rio Bravo.
You're less than 2 hours from Murphys and 2.5 from Rio if I recall, right? If you haven't been to either you won't regret either. Both are great tracks.
@@alexdombi-weridetwo I have been to Murphy's. I usually go to Ultimate MX in Alvin.
I'd go to Rio over Ultimate, personally. The review of Ultimate will be later in the summer ;)

Haha they’ve had the same exact layout on both of those tracks since I moved back to my hometown in 2016. I was thinking about moving back to Houston again but if the jumps are that small and boring with the same exact layout I might just stay here 😂
Keep in mind, I am a slower rider so it may make the jumps look smaller. With VMac Tracks maintaining it now there are changes in the future. I see it as a good sign that they already made changes in layout to night track. It wasn't a full rebuild of the track, but I give the crew props for doing what they do 😉

👍Are they open weekdays and is night track open winter months
Right now (Jan 28th) they are only open Friday-Sunday. During the spring, they are usually open on Tuesday as well. Summer is more often. The night track is open most times they are open. Follow them on Facebook for updates on open hours.

@@joseluismejiarivera4959 That depends on what you want to do. There are job websites specifically for the motorcycle industry or you can check with each manufacturer's website for open positions. If it's in racing specifically, then you will need to be active in you local and district racing series, perform exceptionally well, and make connections with brands to gain sponsors.

Is there rental dirt bikes?
As far as I know they do not offer bike rentals.

How is riding out there as a beginner?
It can be great if it's been recently groomed. The main track can get some good ruts in it, which may intimidate a beginner. The night track is a solid place to start to get comfortable. My kids prefer the beginner track at Rio to any other local track. I see bigger beginners on the kids' track occasionally, too.
