As usual, you seem to go where other tutorials don't! Great hacks and really useful. Subscribed and signed up for newsletter! I know you're an Apple fan but do remember the other half of your audience! 🙂
Fantastic tips, Brian. Thank you. Meanwhile, on my iPhone 14 Pro, several tips don’t work. I don’t have the lens & profile options. Double tapping only zooms my image and does not show the histogram. Maybe some functions only work with the MAX. I look forward to receiving your new Lightroom newsletter. Best wishes Frederic
Wow...great tips.I Went completely mobile on my recent trip to the Scotland. Used a dongle with my iPhone to upload images each evening. Did all my editing on the phone during the trip and now on the iPad and laptop (Lr)...great workflow. Your gestures video really helps.
That’s what I love to hear! Thank you so much. In terms of your mobile-only Scotland trip… how was it overall? Did you ever run into issues where you couldn’t get a photo or weren’t happy with your photos *because* of the iPhone? I’m very curious about that.
One more issues. When I got home I allowed my LRC to synch and download the images, just for the additional backup on the home hard drive and Backblaze. A number of images on Lr then started giving me an error message "awaiting updates" and I lost my Lr edits. I had to reset the image edits and do them again. Not sure what Adobe is doing here but its frustrating...looking on the web I found others have this same problem@@brianmatiash
Hmmmmm… I don’t think I’ve ever run into that. But to be fair, I haven’t used Classic in years. That’s the thing that worries me about the LR/LRC hybrid workflow. It feels like Classic was grafted into the system and sync issues could be more likely as a result. Definitely worth asking Adobe Support about, though.
Hmm is there anything wrong with my settings? tried to follow along, but none of your pinch, doubletap or slide options work for me. Or is it just that I'm on Android?
It's possibly due to the Android version of Lightroom not having all of the same gesture and feature parity as iOS. I use Apple products exclusively and unfortunately don't have Android devices to cross test on.
It's not that I intentionally want to ignore Android. If you'd like to buy me an Android phone that I can use to create content, I'd be happy to do so.
Great tips. I signed up for your newsletter.
Thanks so much for signing up! I got your email and will reply soon!
Thank you. Those were great!!
You’re very welcome!
Thanks, Brian. Very useful tips.

Thanks for watching and commenting (and for signing up to my newsletter!), Ralph. I do hope to get some Android content out there soon.
Awesome 👏 keep going

Great video, Brian. I had thought some of these things (like histogram) were just missing!
Right?! I'm glad you found the video helpful and can now enjoy the benefits of using your histogram when editing!

Doesn't seem to work on Android, just tried it too.

Right up to Vid 3:00 do not work for me, am using my Galaxy s21, like some mentioned , remember the other half

Thats cool
Most of those do not work on Android
Ugh, that’s a bummer! I don’t have an android device to test against, so it’s a crapshoot at this point for me.
So helpful. Thank you!
It's my pleasure!
