    Titus 3:5 KJV
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Hey...A lot of the OSAS teachers you follow are doing the same thing to people who are Born Again Believers in Christ. Who love and serve the Lord. They bring their eternal security into question because they preach holiness and righteousness. Jesus and ALL His Apostles preached the same things. So wild to me that the very reason they teach what they teach is the very thing they are doing to others who question their motive and theology. My question to all the "sin will result in loss of rewards and life, not salvation" crowd is this, "if my sin is going to give me my greatest reward, which is eternity with Christ and deliverance from this perverted and evil world, why would I EVER stop sinful behavior that could take my life??" See the bizarre paradox in that way of thinking? I can't comment on Gregg Jackson, Nicholas Getty, or Nolan Wheaton's pages anymore since they have deemed me a heretic and blocked me from fellowship. I told them all I'd love to have a conversation outside of TH-cam with them to really try to understand their position and why they teach what they teach, but all just call me this or that and avoid any further communication. Not bitter. Not angry. Just a bit bummed I suppose. I KNOW I have been Born of the Spirit. I KNOW Jesus is REAL and He lives in me. I also KNOW that if I were to go back to the life I lived before He rescued me, I run the risk of being separated from Him forever. For any man to teach me otherwise is irresponsible and I believe hateful, to an extent. Gregg likes to joke that if we smoke, we are still going to heaven, we just might smell like hell when we get there. I would say swap smoke for any other sinful behavior. Could you imagine standing in front of Jesus and He asks "why did you never listen to me when I was constantly convicting you to stop watching porn and getting drunk?" I don't want to say, "well Gregg Jackson said I would still go to heaven, I just might lose some extra rewards and smell like booze when I get here." You think Jesus is going to be cool with that? I'm not willing to take the chance. So I do as best I can to live in accordance to His commands and in obedience to the convictions of His Holy Spirit. I guess for a lot of OSAS people, that makes me a false convert or heretic. It really doesn't matter. The lord knows my heart and also the hearts of those who accuse me. It'll all come out in the end. But I pray often that if I am in error, the Lord would show me. And to this point, while He is quick to show me the things in my life that are displeasing to Him, He has not once gave me affirmation that I can be a new creation, but continue living like the old one. God Bless you and your family. In Jesus Name. ☝🏻🙏🏻❤️🙌🏻

Christ set the bar for holiness at a level all Christians are called to aspire to grow towards, but none can ever fully live up to, because of our sin nature we will forever wrestle agaisnt our flesh until our time here has expired. Just as the law of Moses was meant, in part to demonstrate to Israel how impossible it was for mortal man to obtain the moral perfection of God, the standards of Christ also remind us of how shallow our best efforts at goodness really are.Thankfully, God has always provided a way for us to be forgiven for our shortcomings.
Christ was a sinless, blameless substitute for our sins. The Bible clearly tells us what Christ’s moral expectations are for us. If we lost our salvation every time we fell short of those ideals, then none of us would be saved for more than a few days at a time. If that were true, what purpose was there in His death?
The Apostle John tells us “Beloved, now we are children of God and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2). That is speaking of final perfection that is not “now" but is future.

@@BrotherDave80 Yes. I agree with all of this. I also know that Colossians 1:23 tells us to "continue in the faith", so as to be presented Holy and blameless and unreproveable in the Lord's sight by Jesus. We must walk with the Lord and continue to walk with Him. Does that mean we won't have bad days or days where we turn away from Him? Not at all. But we MUST return. I trust God will not send Christ back at a time when someone has a weak moment. But I know that Jesus Himself tells us to be READY and watchful at ALL times. For no one knows the day or hour. So that I feel should compel those who turn away to be quick to turn back. I feel like some of your teachers are telling people, if you depart from Christ and return to yo sinful practices, you will still be with Christ for eternity. I just don't know if that is true. So I will always err on the side of caution, and urge others to do the same. I feel it is impossible to know for sure and irresponsible to teach as if we do, that we can depart to our old lives, never return to Christ and still be saved forever. Jesus never taught that. The apostles never taught that. And I don't believe anywhere in the Old Testament is that taught. All but Noah and his family were saved. Do you really think that nobody who was alive at the point of the flood ever had faith in God for a nanosecond of their lives prior to their death in the flood? Lots wife we could be fairly certain of was a woman of faith. But we see her turn to a pillar of salt as she looks back to the city. Giving credence and weight to Jesus' statement that anyone who puts hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the Kingdom. So that is why I have an issue with what they teach. It's almost like they directly oppose Holy Spirit, Who we KNOW convicts of sin and empowers to walk in righteousness before God and men, and they basically give assurance and comfort people in the midst of their sin. Why do they have to say, "should we sin less? Yes! But some people won't." Where in the Bible is someone Born Again and no change happens in their life or behavior? Jesus, nor any of the apostles ever told someone, you can live carnally and spend eternity with Christ. They never taught, believe for a second and reject God for the rest of your lives and go to heaven. I just don't understand why they want to give so many people assurance, who more than likely need admonishment and correction. I have told all those guys, I have been on both sides of the isle on these topics. Ive been angry when people want to kick others out of the church for falling victim to sin, and now it upsets me that a message is being taught that 5 years ago would have tickled my ears to think I could continue living like hell, since I believed in Jesus and that I'd be all set for eternity. I think their is a middle ground to all of this, but nobody wants to acknowledge where they may be off on their theology. Many have made their theology their idol. Many have made their Bible their idol. Many have made the rapture their idol. The bottom line is, if Jesus isn't the only idol in our life, we got some serious searching to do and a big problem in our hearts and on our hands. Thanks for the interaction. God Bless you Brother. In Jesus Name. ☝🏻🙏🏻❤️🙌🏻

      @@namelessforchrist7648 WRONG ANSWER FOR SALVATION:
because i went to church, got baptized, tried really hard to stop sinning, prayed, read my bible, gave to the poor, looked and acted like a Christian, performed spiritual things in jesus name, preached, casted out demons, did many wonderful works etc. etc. etc....
      BIBLICAL ANSWER FOR SALVATION:
Because I realized that I was a sinner before God and that i need a savior!
I am imperfect and there is nothing I can do to earn my way to heaven and so my only hope to be saved is to put all of my faith and trust in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ on my behalf.
      BIBLICAL ANSWER FOR SERVICE:
Whatever works I may do, whatever spiritual maturity I may reach, whatever sins I may get victory over, whatever fruit i may bear, whatever service i may serve unto the Lord, and how much i may love others cannot save my soul!!
These things should come from the desire of the Holy Spirit and God's grace working in you, on you, and through you, as you yield to Him in faith. No matter how little or how much one produces in these areas it cannot save them!! These things should be cultivated in the life of a born again believer because they are desired by God, profitable eternally for the believer, and profitable physically for others here and now.

@@BrotherDave80 what is this whole thing in reference to? I know what salvation is. That wasn't my question or topic of discussion. My problem is people who listen to Gregg have told me that "when I am committing the worst of sins, I am comforted by the fact that Jesus still loves me and that I am saved and secure eternally." That's such a sad thing to hear someone say. This person thinks they are going to heaven, but the Holy Spirit does not comfort in sin. But that is the fruit of what was taught by Gregg Jackson. People liked that comment. So this person wasn't the only one to share a similar mindset. And I believe anyone thinking or living this way are not Born Again and have been deceived potentially unto eternal darkness, barring intercession by the Spirit of God to open their eyes. So my problem is not with the Gospel. It is with people making people ok with their sin, instead of helping them and instructing them to obey the conviction of the Spirit. Holy Spirit says to a person, stop doing that it is wrong. Gregg and crew tell that person, you should but it won't affect your salvation. By taking the consequence away, they take away the very conviction to be obedient. I'll stop, because I can see this going off the rails pretty quick. I am just pretty over being marked as a heretic who doesn't know or believe in Jesus, when He is what my life has become about. I take no glory for any good I do, but always point to Him when people try to accredit me for "good works". I just don't understand why the hate the word obedience. They really hate the word evidence. And they seem to really hate the idea of someone even trying to live in accordance with God's commandments. Not because they want to be saved by their obedience, but because Jesus says "if you love Me you will keep My commandments." They just love Jesus. So like good children, they want to please their Father. Not sure why that has been demonized by so many in the OSAS community. Thanks for engaging and I really hope God uses you in incredible ways through your music and ministry. God Bless you Brother. In Jesus Name. ☝🏻🙏🏻❤️🙌🏻
