3. Not all Jamaicans sell weed.
Talking about the wolves, not all. Clearly not saying all Jamaicans, Muslims, and Rastas. I am Jamaican. Please overstand that there is an epidemic plaguing our community and it needs to be addressed. The largest marijuana and crack bust as of 2007 in the UK was in a Rastafarian temple. This does not reflect all Rastas. When Jesus said woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, He didn't mean all of them.

As a Jamaican growing up and observing the rastas who claim they are righteous I was always confused about the definition of righteousness until I found Jesus. So many of these rastas, especially the artists(singers and djs) buy so many guns to contribute to gang violence and the murder rate! They are womanisers, fornicators,liars, sorcerers,thieves and murderers just like the baldheads or pagans. They are involved in gang violence and murders and all sorts of criminal activity. Just look at Buju Banton for example getting caught on camera trying to deal cocaine in the USA and winding up in jail. They are the complete opposite of what their idol is!! The man they claim to be the reincarnation of Christ was actually an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian,a follower of Christ. He and his kids and grandkids said plainly that he is no what the rastas claim him to be and asked them to stop the rubbish,but,the devil has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts. Sure many are not criminals or bad people but they are still blind and need Jesus.
They love to use the excuse that Christ is white etc so they are choosing a black king because of their African roots.But they are so ignorant! Even their so called god or king or ruler worshipped the True and living God Jesus Christ . Jesus was from the middle east and was never a white man and white people did not create Christianity. Some greedy wolves in sheep's clothing from the Roman empire took the Truth of Christ and twisted everything in their favour to gain power and wealth and the rastas don't even understand that. It's sad,but,we have to keep praying for them and others and keep preaching the Gospel.

I am afraid some young Africans are also being brainwashed to believe Christianity is the white man's religion and want to go back to their roots, what they don't understand is that African spirituality is witchcraft and devil worship, when I tell them this they say I am mentally and spiritualy colonized.

Thank you for the explaination of context. Some people could take your words and misuse then for condemnation of rasta's. I have a lot of respect of rasta fari. They have a good understanding of justice and righteousness, and a strong love for Africa and the diaspora, but the belief in Haile Selaissie as a divinity and the promotion of weed makes the faith incomplete. However, the Christian world, even though it is there, is also lacking in the focus on justice and righteousness and anti-racism. If it was the norm for Christians to take these challenges serious, then maybe rasta fari would be less appealling.

@bludclart He may have just made a mistake, or he may have been talking about all different faiths. He did say "It doesn't matter how big your beard is, it doesn't matter how long your skirt is, it doesn't matter if you have a dot on your forehead".
Either way, it doesn't take away from the claim that those outward expressions of religion mean nothing when a person is not truly righteous.

I took i job i didnt want to take at a bar at a restaurant. I dont drink and i always felt bad being the one the give them drinks. I recently prayed amd have had the opportunity come up for an open position in hr department. Please pray i get the position. I asked God to lead me to make positive changes in peoples lives.

I’m a heavy weed smoker but I am saved by Christ . I have an amazing relationship with Christ and I am very aware of my sins and why I smoke weed . I often run to my blunt when I feel my depression and my grief pile up … instead of running to Christ . Like a child that doesn’t want to run to his father for every problem but that is wrong . I must lose my pride and kill my ego . I can do nothing without Christ our lord .
