around 19:00 is there a reason behind why your soaking sink array prioritizes dirty plates going to the middle sink first? I encountered a similar quirk in one of my own runs, and couldn't quite figure out how the game would decide the middle should be filled first..

been playing on console with a couple friends since it has came out on gamepass. wanted to know if the pc and console versions of the game are different? i see some things that ive never seen before
I know seeded maps and some dishes are different on PC and console. What else have you noticed? All appliances are the same and the gameplay works the same as well.
@@TheOntarioGardener auto grabbers and corner grabbers. but i guess ive never tried to upgrade a normal conveyor belt. your videos have been very helpful. i would have never thought of trying to automate things. will definitely go into the next game with a different mindset. Thankyou!
@13:50 how does the regular grabber know to let the pie cook, instead of grabbing the raw meat pie? I would expect a smart grabber to be required here, but that's not the case.
Grabbers will only grab after an action before it finished. So in the case of a hob, as long as you are not combining things onto it, it will wait to grab until it cooks.
wait?! there is an option to sandbox? (it seems like it with how you have items before the first day) can you explain how to do so? I wanted to test some automation ideas but farming it all is gonna take forever!
During the herd mentality part with the burgers, how come the (not smart) grabbers on the soaking sinks don't grab the dirty dishes? And in the pie how come the (not smart) grabbers wait for the mixer to make a pie crust? was this in a new update? A grabber just grabs whatever right away unless it's a smart one whenever I've played.

I think i got to day 13 where I couldn't possibly do it all by myself and I was struggling to get much automation blueprints along the way. Would you recommend saving most of your coins and putting them towards desks in the early game over other blueprints? Got about 13 hrs in the game so far so still learning. thanks!
It all depends on the goal of the run. For me, who has played for a year, I can franchise with no automation. But if you like automation go that route. I typically try to get a BP desk and then modify my plan based on the blueprints that come. You have to be open to change your plan to accommodate the appliances you get.
I'm running solo on coffee using a Turbo plan. I have a smart grabber pulling cups from one coffee machine into the order. I have 6 Barstools and about 5 coffee tables. I have a copy, discount and research desk and two Blueprint cabinets. The frustrating thing is during prepping for Day 14 I get offered Tea and Victorian standards. I chose Victorian as my setup is working and running solo and adding an additional beverage would be shooting myself in the foot. My question is how the heck do you setup for that😭? I currently have the plan that is basically all counter and all customers are seated at the counter with the coffee tables against the wall. With Victorian standards it says " Table loses patience at rate of +300% while any player is within a limited-range cone of vision and in same room as any customer seated there (does not apply through Serving Windows). Only applies to  Waiting for Table,  Service, and  Waiting for Food patience. Indicated by an eye icon while active"; I'm slow Susan- can a video be made on Victorian standards? Or at laments term please. I don't want to lose all my hard work. It's my first attempt at a solo run
I have a question about the pumpkin seeds automation... the bin only has like two capacity... how do you throw out the trash when it gets full? the set up look like you are stuck inside.
I think they updated the blue print desks dropping EXTRA blue prints in addition to the usual 5, i had 3 blue print desks in a run but i only get 5 blue prints everyday
If you have more than 5 Blueprint desks, you will get an equivalent amount of Blueprints each day. If you have certain franchise cards you can get more than 5 without Blueprint desks.
Can anyone tell me how people get so many items to store in their garage to bring into the start of a new game? I feel like I only get a garage item every 2 or 3 games. How do people like this creator have a garage filled with items???
@@TheOntarioGardener see that makes complete sense, but how do you fill the garage with boxes the way you have yours? Did you just not bring an item into a new restaurant for 30-40 straight starts???

I am still struggling to get to the automation stage since it takes a bit of luck to get the copy table (unless I am missing something important) by the time I get it I am already in blink of losing 😂.
Title: "Advanced Guide" Reality: "Intermediate guide and showing off." What I wanna see is how do you get 5 soaking sinks, 20 grabbers, and 6 teleporters by Day 15 in that hamburger run. Every time I play this game, the first 15 days has barely any automation as it's all about optimizing the individual processes first. Doesn't matter if it's a fresh run or a franchised run unless you get super lucky with your franchise cards. What I wanna see is an advanced guide showcasing how to properly acquire and implement many desks and blueprint cabinets. How do those runs always have like 10 Cabinents and 5 Desks when I can barely get 1 of each desk and I never see a new cabinent appear.
@@chefstephcooks Been playing for 200 hours before I finally realized I should copy the blueprint of a Cabinet instead of just buying the Cabinet. That was the only thing I was missing.

The corner and smart grabbers upgrade from the grabber which upgrades from the conveyour. So it is a muti process to get them through research.

A normal grabber will always wait for an immediate action, like a soaking sink or a mixer making a crust, before grabbing.

Look there really needs to be a video that shows how to get blueprint cabinets this is ridiculous can't figure it out anywhere
There is no trick. You get them from drops at the end of the day, or in a blueprint desk. It’s all random.

I always target blueprint desks first since it allows me to get more desks/cabinets

This was a custom seed for making the guide. So it wouldn’t work with the vanilla game.

Every time you lose a run, you get a garage item. I’ve played for a long time so I’ve gotten many items.

How do you turn on/off the ghost mode with a keybind?
Ghost prep is a mod. You have to turn it off/on in the main menu.

For the purpose of the guide I used mods to spawn the items in.

Yup! You can cook anything on any cooking device.

Does cabinet spawn regularly?
Yes they can, and also can appear on blueprint desks!

Gets easier over time, just keep playing. Get multiple research tables to get the copier and multiple cabinets to copy multiple things over time
