- PlateUp! combines chaotic kitchen and restaurant management with strategic planning and development to create a delightful roguelite dish unlike any other.
Up to four players build and run a restaurant from scratch, choosing dishes, buying and placing appliances - some of which can be daisy-chained together to create ambitious automatic kitchens - cooking food and serving customers.
Players have free rein to design their restaurant which will expand and develop between shifts - with additional content and challenges unlocked through progression.
Can you cook, serve and manage your way through 15 hectic days in your restaurant and unlock a brand-new franchise?
* Classic co-op cooking action, with a wide selection of mains, sides, sauces, toppings, desserts, and starters.
*Choose your equipment, lay out your kitchen, curate your menu and plate up your dishes.

Crazy how I feel like I know this game so well and only 15 minutes in I’ve managed to learn stuff that after months of playing I never realised 😂
The problem I have is the first time I ever played I got to overtime day1 but can’t get past overtime day 3 after hours and hours and hours of experimenting
@@clipsyoucantshowyourmotheri literally just started yesterday and I really should’ve watched videos first because i was struggling and only made it halfway through the days…I didn’t know about serving through the window or the upgrades💀
@@karlmoore5999 you’ll get better very quickly if you only started yesterday but for some reason I’m a veteran at level 16 but feel incredibly capped out. I don’t even receive enough of the conveyors or grabbers as blueprints to automate anything with any consistency. Even if I did there’s never enough space.

I am new to the game and I am honestly quite surprise when seeing you using one research desk to upgrade 3 blurprints. I thought you can only use the desk one time per day. Thanks for the tips and they help me a lot.

The issue is finding a good map. I could try entering the seed you have right now, and it wouldn't work, likely due to a new update or the fact it's shown in all caps despite there being lowercase letters, and they both produce different results.
The seed in any of my earlier videos likely won’t work. The latest update was to help seeds from being changed due to updates. It’s a hard thing to code in to keep them consistent after each update. But it is being worked on :)

How does combiner and portioner work? Do you need a conveyer belt? It's hard to figure out how to work these things, the game doesn't seem to tell you very clearly D:

awesome guide, I just started to play the game today and this guide will help me so much thx. I just got to now, is there any trick to get own designed rooms or somethign like that? I always get like three rooms with unhelpful shape. Is there any Impact I can have on the size and shape of the room I dont know about?

Outside of using the kitchen designer mod, you can’t alter maps. As you gain levels though you do unlock other types and sizes of maps as well as the ability to use seeded maps.
I can barely make it past day 6.. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Serving across the counter is great and the wash basin but I'm still confused
This game has a learning curve for sure. Try to set up your kitchen where you don’t have to run around too much. Also, keeping dishes off the tables helps keep customers inside rather than waiting outside.

The game just seems to advance so quickly. It's not like games were you get experience and then can start at a higher level.
You got so many cabinet while i cant get one lol, all that aside, this really thought me a lot since ive been only playing this for a couple of days, thank you for making this video ❤❤

But I highly suggest playing vanilla at least for a few franchises to learn. :)

A heated mixer would chop the steak.
I don't understand how you're getting so many desks and blueprint cabinets. I always put first desk in the cabinet but in 50+ runs so far I've seen a blueprint cabinet come up from shop ONE time before i get to overtime D= And desks are sooo rare, even if i put the first one away, about 40% of the time I don't get another one til day 4+

Is the secret simply starting from a good seed? I tend to hit a wall with too many people waiting outside day 10ish due to poorly designed random seed diners.
Secret is playing and learning how to optimize a restaurant to your style only. The guides I make are only to show insight and not how you have to play. It took me many months to optimize my style for success. You will get there!
how do you "hover" a furnishing to see its name? I'm still new and sometimes I forget the names of the hobs or sink type + function
If you use your Ping button it should tell you. Default on keyboard is L.

You talked about showing how to empty garbage and blew right past it.
Cant get research desk to do anything but rotate. I have it right next to cabinet, try to use action button..(.on wireless controller) nothing but rotation. Lol what am i dont wrong?
You use it during the day, not in practise. If that’s what you mean. I’m not aware of any bugs that make the research desk not work.
How do you get so many blueprint cabinets? I have about 20 hours in the game, and I've only ever gotten a blueprint cabinet(extra) twice total.
You can get them Blueprint desks, which is the best way. Also, they can spawn as random blueprint at the end of the day. If you are playing the same map seed, make sure to have “seed effects layout only” checked. Otherwise you will keep getting the same blueprints.
I walked away mid day 5 came back at day 13 I’m stressed.
It can be a challenge for sure! Took me many months of practising.
40 hours in I made it to day 15 4 times and overtime day 5 twice.
I can only do turkey.

Why are your customers coming in so slow? Mine comes almost right after the before ones...
It all depends on how many groups you have and also the day you are at. The more groups or the farther day, the customers come in faster.
what is wrong with the dishwasher?
franchises last forerver ? or if you lose, they go away too ?
As long as you reach OT1 every Tier you can franchise and keep playing the next Tier. But if you lose prior to that, you lose.
Why do I only get food cards? I always lose by day 4 because now I have to cook my choice of food and the extra dish which is usually absolutely annoying to make.
If you are playing a non turbo or autumn map, you should get a choice of food or customer card, every 3rd day.

@@MadMaxJuggernaut Do you have any mods installed? If you are playing a vanilla game, normal map theme, you should always get a choice of food and customer. I would report it on the discord, as a bug.

I never get cabinets
This was a guide so I used mods to spawn the items. My game play videos are always vanilla though. Good rng helps.
why did you skip day 6 to day 13?? i cant get past day 9
When making the guide I was showing off different parts of the run, not a whole gameplay. I have lots of let’s play series if you are interested in seeing a start to finish full game.

PlateUp! came out on PC in August 2022, there aren't currently any plans to port to mobile but that could change in the future!
shesh the seed (7gmqyvbj) for this. so many blueprint cabinets. bit jealous. the mall map makes me conscious about space though
Diner maps can be challenging for sure!
