Not in the market for another boat having just sold my 30ft center console last month, but looking to make some upgrades to my shallow water boat, Scout 177. Lots of ideas from watching your video walkthrough. Also, looking to try the Georgia coast thanks to you.
I came across your channel from the podcast with eastern current. I used to fish down in the low county back when we lived there in the 90s all over Savannah River, Chechessee, etc. I have a 2013 MPS 16 just like yours. Great boat for fishing inside.
I love the mako pro skiff's I have been trying to decide weather to get the 15 or the 17 after watching this video I think I might just go with the 15 foot one. to bad you can't keep this one and your new boat as well.
@@LowCountryFishing I bet you did I have been looking at the mako skiff's for a few years now and I really like them it has just been a matter of money for me. But lately I have been checking out micro skiffs and there are some pretty cool ones of those as well. I mainly bass fish but I want something I can take in the salt water once in awhile as well. I do not need big boat with tons of bells and whistle's just need a good solid stable boat for me to fish off and mu son to have some room to be in the shade and play on the floor or deck of the boat while I fish. he likes to be on the water and fish but when the fishing is tough or slow he gets bored quick so for me to aty out on the water he needs a little space for a play area for him and the mako skiff have that. Anyway great channel and buddy of mine turned me on to your channel he is scotthoollywood outdoors on youtube.
Great Boat and vid thx ...? Garmin transducer appears to be 56 which is big ...S scan is real important to me...any problems to getting Placement to work properly....on that unusual transom
Sorry to revive an old comment thread Dan, but your use of this boat has got me looking at the newer iterations of the Pro Skiff and they seem like they've made a few improvements. They are more expensive now though. Have you seen them? If so what do you think?
How deep was your garage? I was thinking about getting a 19 and storing it in my garage straight in. I have a 22 ft garage not sure if I can park it straight in.
I know you've sold this skiff but I have a question on the garage storage. When you said if fit in your garage by turning the motor all the way to one side, was that using the fold away tongue or w/o using the fold away tongue? I'm looking at a 2016 for $14,500 & he said the full length of the boat is 21' & my garage is 21'2". Not sure how it would fit completely in my garage w/o the fold away tongue.
When you removed the Pro 16 lettering and strip from the boat did it leave it discolored? Could you see where the decals were? If so what did you use to make it all white and matching?
It did not have any discoloring. If your boat does, it’s very difficult to get rid of because the fiberglass has oxidized and this colored around the letters. You may have to just keep the letters on there unless you want that ProSkiff lettering to be forever shadowed on there.
@@noahjohns7954 the bone stock 15ft pro skiff is $21k when you add taxes and freight. Not to mention I also have $4k in extras on mine. That makes it $10k difference from what I have vs the exact set up brand new. Trust me this boat is priced right. With what’s on it.
@@LowCountryFishing I know! You’ve taken care of it, and good boats go for a good price. I’m just saying it’s almost half the cost of a new boat, I just though boats depreciated faster than that. Guess I was wrong! I’m still new to boat buying and stuff so this helps me figure out what to look for at this price point.
Just moved to Savannah a few weeks ago and I want a boat just like this. Great video and great channel content!

Thank you for giving the length WITH trailer and the tongue hinge
Sweet setup. Someday I'll be able to get me one. That is a very fair price for the setup.

Thanks for the support man. That skiff is killer down here. Breaks my heart to sell it too.
I wish I had a spare 15k laying around, looks like a great set up for me a couple young boys

I lost sleep thinking about it but it’s time to move on. Next skiff will be stripped down, meat and potatoes kinda rig.

Awesome boat! Unluckily I’m a year too late 😅
Thinking about this as my first boat. 17ft for me and my wife. She finally caved lol. Unless you recommend another to check out.
Great video! I’m in the process of purchasing one. Did u sell yet?
Yes sir over a year ago, it sold fast great little boat. Ive done a ton of videos in it back in the day.

Where did you get the curtain from, I’ve searched all over for them and couldn’t find and. Thanks

I'd keep that sweet little rig if I were you!
where did you find your Bimini top? Looks nice and fits well?
It came with the boat when I bought it
Amazon has Bimini

@LowCountryFishing very nice boat! Is this still available?
Yes
You need to keep this thing
I know. I promised the wife I would sell it and downgrade to a more simple skiff in the summer. Until it sells I’m gonna fish on it tho. 😝

@LowCountryFishing i can't, I have another car in the garage next to it. Also there is a concrete column in the middle by the 2 garage doors.

Are the curtain original from Mako? And if not where can I get them

I'm not sure if it's oxidized, it's a 2013 but has been garage keep. Like the look you had on yours without the letters. What to do, what to do...🤔
Where did you buy/order the Mako curtains for the center console and bow?
Tracker marine
What's your asking price for this gem?
$15k firm
