    Hi Patrick, Thanks for your lovely, clear, to the point video on Camphor. I am of East-Indian descent but settled down in Canada last 30 yrs plus.
    Love the smell of camphor. Grew up with it. Loved your cautioning words throughout the video.
    Camphor is used in India in a lot of Indian temples and also in homes mainly in the prayer room as a final "Offering" to a prayer. it is known as "Aarti".
    I read all the comments after I watched your video. I am adding this comment as a response to one of your fans here mentioned he heats up the oil. Just my 2 cents worth. Hope you don't mind me pointing this out.
    With your video one learns it can be used for making essential oils like you have demonstrated so clearly. Thanks for your clear , no nonsense video. Thanks Patrick.

      Hi there, I have never had an issue with Camphor, could it perhaps be a "bad" batch? have you tried from a different supplier? I only ask because it should definitely dissolve unless there is something wrong with it.

    • @preetigupta5605
      @preetigupta5605 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have been using camphor extensively in India for medicinal preparations. Pure camphor should dissolve in warm oils however the one derived chemically may not. So that might be the problem. I still remember my grandmother dissolving a pinch of camphor in coconut oil in warm weather for application on skin.
