Thanks for another great video Lori-Anne! I've been following your advice and yesterday I had my first two sales. I just couldn't believe it. I'll wait until I have 20-30 products before I do Pinterest. Thanks again ☺️
Lori-Ann, your videos are so incredible helpful! I am doing a 1 month tpt shop review video this Monday and am tagging your channel as creator who has been so helpful! You may get a TH-cam notification in the next few days of me tagging your channel in my video's description. Thank you for all you do! :)
Thank you Lori-Anne! for your clear and helpful videos. I have noticed to my surprise that most of my traffic to my TH-cam channel comes from Pinterest. I will definitely give Pinterest more attention. Have a blessing week.
@@ItsAllPrimary yes, every time I publish a new video on TH-cam, I post a Pin Idea. I noticed that the second source to come to my channel is Pinterest. Love your video! Thank you
Great video! More Pinterest videos would be great. Pinning strategies and idea pins especially. I feel like I just have so many questions too. Maybe a QnA?
Such an informative video, Lori-Anne! Thanks! Must revisit Pinterest again I LOVE your branding cover. I have created covers for all, or almost all of my boards, but somehow the uniformity of your covers speaks volumes! LOL no pun intended. Thanks again for all the time and energy you put into these sessions! :) Cheers! Best wishes for the end of your school year. Looking forward to learning more. ~ Liz
Great video! I agree with what you're saying. I know that I don't use Pinterest effectively. It's one of my goals for the Summer! Thanks again, Lara from Teaching Grotto
Hi Lara, here's a blog post I just received on growing Pinterest (I didn't write it). Lots of great info: www.straycurls.com/pinterest-for-bloggers-get-traffic/
@@ItsAllPrimary yes, but also more of your pinning strategy. I never know how many pins to pin, do I pin just my own or pin others, and a little more about the analytics. Thank you!
Thanks for the great training. Do you post only your things to your boards or do you pin others things? At one point we were taught to not just have our own product but not sure what best practices are now.
I created 2 types of boards - some specifically for my products and then some for me to post other products to. As I'm still in the class, I look for pins that work for my teaching. Right now, Pinterest is favouring Idea Pins so try to create 1 for each week.
Thank you for for sharing 🌺 I started on Pinterest a few months ago. Your videos are really helping me! I have a quick question. I am pretty happy with my number of impressions, but I have *very* few followers. Do the number of followers make a difference in the overall success of a Pinterest account? Thank you so much :)
Hello fellow Canadian. I was wondering when you preview your stuff. Does it show on the statics page? Or is that real people viewing my stuff? Lol Thanks for taking the time to answer!
Hi Arlene, are you talking about previewing your stuff on TPT or Pinterest? If you are asking about TPT, I try to do data every month. I will take stats every Monday morning. TPT says that you viewing your own work doesn't count. It is other people.
This is probably a dumb question -- but do you just repin other people's pins you think are relevant to your content. Do you have to get permission from the person you repin from for a business account? Is it considered a copyright infringement if you do? Are there any kind of etiquette or unwritten rules when you want to repin someone else's product pins on your boards? I would assume people would want you to repin their pins but I just don't want to assume. Thanks.
Hi Tonia, I repin a small amount of other peoples' pins. I have pin boards that pertain to my own classroom and I spend 1 day a week pinning between 5-10 pins. You do not need permission. When you repin, the credit of the pin still belongs to them. People want you to repin their pins, as it increases the analytics on their account.
Thanks, I took your advice and started a Pinterest business account
Woo hoo! Let me know if you need any help! I will be doing another Pinterest video on creating idea pins probably next month.

When you are starting out - do not worry about Pinterest. Just get some products into your store.

I just remembered something that I am interested in. What proportion of pins should be other peoples' pins vs my own product pins? :) thx
@@learnwithpuzzles Hi Liz, I probably have 80% my own pins. I spend less than 1 hour posting other people's pins.
Thank you, Liz - I watched a Pinterest webinar last summer and they suggested covers for your boards. It's a lot of work but I'm glad I did it.
