So, for example, hauling aircraft fuselages, physically they are quite large, they take up a lot of space, but in terms of weight, it is an empty circle made out of low weight material.

Its great to see the company bigwigs went.... "Yeah this is too good not to do". with the cockpit jutting forward like a chin its impossible not to see a dolphin, then add in the body, it could only be one paint scheme. I hope they keep it up, although I doubt they will not be making TOO many examples of this variant. maybe 20 air-frames tops. What Aerobus did is took a plane, and made it into a world traveling ( be it shorter hops) piece of public art. How can you not smile when you see it.
On second watch , the paint scheme really does add an elegance to the planes appearance. I feel like it blends in the cargo extension and the very forward cockpit ( almost like a chin) into one nice overall package.
Sometimes, it surprises me we were able to get 100s of people into the air just with some materials, tech, and innovation behind it. And now, we got a beluga into the air. Cheers to Airbus!

I used to work on boats back then and there is an airport nearby that is mainly used to transport parts, and I've seen this plane two times a week for two years and It never got old
Considering since the development of the 747 the basic shape of airlines have not advanced that much, composites have replaced aluminium. Engines on the other hand have evolved something like 35 times. If airlines had kept up at the same pace, we would have aircrafts that could take off from a typical runway and get into orbit.

I just can't believe how far the aviation industry has come. Like, we used 4 engines on a Boeing 707, but now we use only 2 engines on a BelugaXL that has a whale’s face painted on it. Man..... Technology
The beluga was meant to fly oversized cargo, as in too big to fly in a traditional freighter. Airbus uses it to transport aircraft parts. The limitations pertaining to cargo payload and MTOW are maintained here. But the beluga was never about hauling incredibly heavy payloads
Because it serves the purpose it is designed to carry oversized aircraft components which take up a lot of space but aren't that heavy it has a payload capacity of about 50 tons and weighs not much roughly 127 tons compared to the B747 it which has payload capacity of about 227 tons and weighs roughly 220 tons.
Most older DSLRs are just bad at taking video- slow and non-continuous autofocus is to blame. Probably she is not used to manual focusing during video, I guess. I'am a photo guy anyway.
I am a photo guy too. Sure it's not just "point and shoot" like a phone. BUT YOU HAVE DSLR with somewhat optical zoom. it's any day better than the best phone camera, As of now.
As I have stated, that girl is probably not used to manual focusing while taking video, she may not even know that she can do it besides relying on slow autofocus. Depending on lenses and their focus ring smoothness it can be pain in the ass :)

Because it serves the purpose it is designed to carry oversized aircraft components which take up a lot of space but aren't that heavy it has a payload capacity of about 50 tons and weighs not much roughly 127 tons compared to the B747 it which has payload capacity of about 227 tons and weighs roughly 220 tons.

1:25, this is just sad. Very few are watching it. And worst is that girl in red top, she literally has DSLR on her neck and she's using her phone.
Most older DSLRs are just bad at taking video- slow and non-continuous autofocus is to blame. Probably she is not used to manual focusing during video, I guess. I'am a photo guy anyway.
I am a photo guy too. Sure it's not just "point and shoot" like a phone. BUT YOU HAVE DSLR with somewhat optical zoom. it's any day better than the best phone camera, As of now.
As I have stated, that girl is probably not used to manual focusing while taking video, she may not even know that she can do it besides relying on slow autofocus. Depending on lenses and their focus ring smoothness it can be pain in the ass :)
Aakash Kalaria I agree with you. Always bugs me seeing people using phones instead of cameras (especially if they have a camera). But I wonder if maybe airbus asked all these people to pretend film it with their phones for the shot. Especially because they all are holding them horizontally and we all know the world just doesn’t work like that. Lookin at you people who film vertically!!!

Danex Pinoy it was the first time anybody had flown the beluga XL. Incase anything went wrong they could jump out the plane and they would be ok. They also had parachutes for that also
