There is a huge difference between DIY and craftsman!!!!!

When I built mine for my superturd I started with cardboard, then a wooden frame and finally a steel frame with aluminum panels. It replaced the center 3rd seat so my console is huge. Fun project

You need a Playlist titled "parnell"...
A few things... I am in love with parnell.... 's shop.... That wooden mock up looks better than some diy stuff I see... I know parnell has a inst, when is parnell going to get a youtube channel?

My friends have been beating me up about this for years after watching all Michael's editing time on the videos I'm not sure I'll ever be able to do it.

@@parnellpollioni I understand. I made a video, once. The efforts that go into setting these up, editing and publishing are crazy. I'll continue to appreciate your shop and work through insta and Michael. 😂

If you build a nice center console for that fzj80 I'll buy one for sure

Once you finished with this, are you planning in selling these as a flat pack DIY kits (similar to IKEA furnitures)? If so, can you do one which has the handbrake still in place?

I would like to see more detail on how you secured the RedArc gear, from this video it looked like you stacked the RedVision right on top of the Manager30, which should be a no no for long term thermal issues. I drive a 99 suburban and have been going through this process albeit much much slower than you.

Do you have cooling fans for the REDARC and electrical components?

Idk how many DIYrs have CAD. Most of us use cardboard aided design.

Isn't that what CAD stands for?

Looking great! Curious, how are you handling the heat produced by the Redarc? We know ours produces quite a bit

There's plenty of ventilation in the bottom of the console but will be adding a fan if necessary.

Not really in the overland scene: what’s the purpose of those cables from the roof rack to the brush guard?

Too much fiddling around. Measure twice, cut once. Install. Done. This console will cost $1000s before it’s installed.
