Sometimes it's punk, sometimes it's rock, sometimes it's AMAZING 80s New Wave fused with punk, sometimes it's garage rock that fits seamlessly into a set list stocked with Ramones, Stones, Replacements, Billy Idol, Misfits, and Bowie. Mike and Tre are phenomenal musicians who belong in the convention with no less than Les Claypool, Matt Freedman, Keith Moon, and Nick Mason. As a guitar player, he's nothing special. But as a songwriter? He's the lovechild of Paul McCartney and Pete Seeger. As a front man? He's Freddie or Bowie. And let his name not be lost to history, Jason White is a fucking brilliant guitar player and singer (and a damn good songwriter in his own right) who allowed him to unleash that. THE best band who has actually learned from THE GREATEST bands. I love them. There's an old musician joke, how do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice. They practice. So maybe ya'll should pick up your instrument and learn something today.
