If we calculate the diesel consumption for one lakh km for car having average fuel consumption 9km/l is approximately 9-10 lakh plus service cost including spare part cost. It depend upon how much you drive the electric car. More you drive more it is cheaper than diesel or petrol car for same mileage.
but the thing is batteries health degrades so much so the range will degrade a lot. like you know battery warranty is 8 yrs so what would you do after 8 yrs.

I has more pros than cons all it needs is infrastructure and electric tech becoming affordable which will happen in 10 years. It's for our own good environmental or country growth we should stop depending on oil and go for renewable energy. People should start thinking in this perspective than what about battery and charge etc.

Especially when it’s missing the following :- -Ventilated seats -Top notch speakers (8 speakers) with sub woofer -Seats with memory functions -Delayed touch screen (camera quality is not that much of an issue) -Second row leg space (A big bummer) & unfortunately Hyundai Kona as well face the same issue.
