I'm still about the weight I was when I first got my period back. Went gluten-free though...but still eating well. Last cycle (second cycle) was 65 days. Right now it's day 66 of my cycle...I am having stomach pains, headaches, tiredness, constantly want to munch on something because I am sooo tired. (I only have CM) I don't know what's going on...😭

Can you yell me what you know about HA recovery at 49 when you aren’t sure if you have hit menopause anyway etc

I’ve just turned 51 & had a regular 26 to 28 day cycle up until last October. I firmly believe I developed HA after taking large amounts of progesterone as part of a (unsuccessful) frozen embryo transfer at the end of sept. I was also doing intermittent fasting, returned to cardio training and had additional stress which compounded the situation. My follicular phase got longer & longer and then periods stopped I January this year with constant hot/cold flushing, weight gain, brain fog & numerous other symptoms. I knew this was not menopause however due to my age everyone assumes it is. I am delighted to say that my period returned almost a week ago, and I am confident I will resume my regular cycle now that I have made the necessary changes to reduce the dietary, emotional and physical stress levels. I also took a ton of supplements including animal glandular - hypothalamus, pituitary, ovary, placenta, uterus, adrenals - along with selenium, ceq10, vit e, b vitamins, zinc, vit d and omega 3. I stopped cardio, did long walks, stopped fasting and ate 3 meals a day with a ton of animal fat and animal protein plus liver 3X a week and loads of full fat raw dairy. I’m now 7lbs heavier, I’m sleeping better and skin is glowing, I’m a size larger in clothes but I’m so happy my hormones feel balanced and I have my cycle back on track. Do not listen to the narrative that by 40 we’re no longer fertile and menopause is imminent. If you take care of yourself and nurture your hormones you can keep ovulating well into your 50’s (if you want to). Good luck.
