More post- HA content/info, please. My last period was so short despite being quite heavy and I've been so stressed over it. I'm awaiting my eighth period and I'm nervous.

@@DaniSheriff I just got my eighth period Saturday and it’s looking like the same thing has happened. The first two days, my bleed was strong and the flow was quite heavy but then at some point last night, it got very light. Now it’s suuuuper light, to the point that it feels like my period has already ended. This bothers me a lot. My periods were always around 5-7 days pre-HA, but now it’s getting light after just about three days.

Hi Dani,I am so happy to share that I have regained my menstrual cycle . Thank you for all the advice and information you have provided. I would greatly appreciate if you could share more guidance on how I can maintain this process and prevent losing my period again.Additionally, I would like to know when I can safely return to working out(weight lifting). Should I continue eating in a caloric surplus, or eat at maintenance level?
Thank you again so much for your help. I'm truly grateful🥺❤️

love this. don't find it particularly surprising and didn't think it was 'a lot'. if anything I thought there would be more! but very helpful. I want to challenge myself to not eat so much veg as I think its causing a lot of bloat, but also interesting re protein and your cycle. This could be a missing piece for me. I tend to carb up and occasionally binge and I have a suspicion its because protein is too low.

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate you taking the time. Yeah I don't feel like I eat a TON but I also don't work out that intensely or anything. I will post more context about training soon.

loved getting a glimpse into your life nowadays - thank you so much for sharing, Dani! Just wondering how many eggs you generally eat per serving and overall, per day? thank you!

I'll try to do it more :)
I will have somewhere between 2-4 depending on what else it's with. In those tacos I have 1.5 per tortilla.

@@DaniSheriff yay! thank you so much :)
Interesting about the eggs. I try to eat 2-3 per meal (usually lunch). Recently, I have felt suuuuper full for ageeees after eating these - uncomfortable and "off". I thought that maybe I was eating an abnormal amount of eggs but after watching your video, I think not. Perhaps I'm a bit intolerant🥲 Hopefully I'll become tolerate again soon, lol.
Thanks for getting back to me :DD

The very fact you keep saying you feel like it’s a lot is kinda of concerning. It definitely isn’t a lot. In fact if you are an athlete I’d say this is underfeeding. I study nutrition and can say for sure this isn’t a lot of carbs. Recommendations are 5-12g per kg so just say you are 60kg that’s AT LEAST 300g carbs for an athlete. I am sure you know this. To me this looks nowhere near that 🤷‍♀️

Yeah while I feeeeel it's a lot I think you're right, it's not a LOT a lot to some - especially if someone isn't feeling or performing great. I'd have my clients eat WAY more because they're dealing with more. But, my cycle is regular and all in healthy parameters. My labs are great, I feel good, my hair and nails are going well, my performance is good, my sleep is good. I don't track food, so it's hard to know where it's at. I would not have recovered on this food personally - I had to eat double, but I am currently maintaining. The second that stops and food has to go up for me I will be sharing about it. Right now, still the same, still fine.
I will add that my training isn't that much and you may think I'm doing a crazy load which is requiring 300g carbs. I am not a full time athlete and I don't do a crazy sport like I used to. I do mostly skills work and don't focus on strength/speed/endurance gains often. I have a follow up video about my training which may paint some more context... you'll see how little I actually do as an athlete LOL.

Sadly in my experience having studied nutrition doesn't mean a whole lot about qualifications (I mean so did I and I guess you don't think I know much?) but I appreciate your opinion! Many many many of my clients with HA work in nutrition, including dietitians so sometimes we have to be curious about our bias. I think people get mad at me here because I'm in the HA space and they just want to see people eating more food and don't love it when I'm not but remember, I'm not an HA'er anymore!
      Correction: (I'm 65kg)
