GREAT VIDEO! On the last connector you showed, with that white colored locking block, you don’t actually have to remove it all the way I found out. You just pop it up the same direction as if you were taking it out like 1/4”-3/8” and it will stop. Then you take a very small pick (I used a leather saddle stitching needle in a pin vise as a tool) and you just insert it into those little holes in the white locking block next to each pin and pull the wire right out. It’s super satisfying to do once you figure them out haha.
Excellent. I sure hope people see this video first and not those others that have you using a needle and going into the front of the CanBus connector. While that other method works - it is much more cumbersome. Your process works perfectly!!
Well done sir. Thank you for this vid, changing out my wife's 09 Rocker handlebars from Bitchin Rich (BSC) proved to be a little harder than I thought it would be. The connection that had a little trouble with was the last one. Thank you for saving me from having a giant wad of butt conns.
Great video man. Bought some factory Harley front blinkers for my 2021 Road glide, and the damn cables from the light don’t come from the factory with the connector attached. Harley makes you buy it, and additional pins separately. Fuggin shit practice. This will help with my installation. Thanks a million! 🙋🏻♂️
WoW!! Too bad the dealership techs don’t do this Yes I know they have to complete a job But a few minutes longer for a neater job You have instead a bunch taped wires!! Thanks for the information
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!! I've been trying to "un-f**K" my 07 FLHX handle bar replacement that happened before I bought the bike. You made the job insanely easy!
Any tips on getting the pins out of the throttle wire connector? You did an awesome job explaining the heated grip ones but I can’t seem to get the throttle wire connector off
Wow! Been fng around for a year trying to unpin those JAE (CAN-Bus) connectors. All other videos show using a safety pin from the opposite side. It does eventually work but is a PITA at best. The method you show here is essentially foolproof. Thank you. Quick question: did you make/modify that tool or buy it? I got a different tool to work but yours looks better.
Aren’t some of those AMP Multi-Lock I had trouble finding the 4 wire connectors. Seems HD went away from them I need to figure out the 4 wire connector that has the blue seal and used for 22FXLRST Speedo to a 22 FXLRS

That 4-pin connector @6:49, all other videos show the tool going in to the other end. Your way might be alot easier.

Thanks brother. I am going to replace the Nacelle on my bike, and was wondering how to get the wires out of the headlight assy without cutting.
