What you will find with the dead pedal is that the 10spd starts in 2nd unless you are tow mode. Some of the lag is the engine spooling enough to take off in 2nd. I have the iDash and mainly for regen cycle timing and the EGR temps are helpful when in regen to know if you are getting temps high enough. Surprisingly, it can take 30+ minutes on the L5P compared to 15 minutes max on my previous LZ0.
I Love all my banks stuff on my l5p but the idash is by far my favorite thing from them. I don’t have the pedal monster but I really don’t want it because I like the calm nature of my truck.
Both my wife's and my diesel pickup have the iDash. When I drive our Jeep JLU or the Dodge Durango, which do not have the iDash, I feel like something important is missing!
I have the Banks pedal monster on my 24 3500hd duramax. Love it! I have it set in street #7 setting. Plenty of go! No problem with computer. Love the stock reverse setting. #47!!!!
I’m running twin I-dash in my 2024 3500 and love them. With that said they leave a lot left to desire, no trans temp, no gear selection, no oil pressure and etc. please let me know if you get some (cheat codes) to unlock some settings. Stay safe.
have to talk to someone who has it and took truck in for warranty to verify but I've heard numerous times the pedal monster doesn't leave a footprint in computer system......it just recalibrates what the manufacture wont give you....same thing with street bikes.....crack throttle 100% and it gives 65%....same way throughout the powerband/gears....so it just alters the throttle, take it out and it is stock again....if you put the truck on a dyno it will measure out how much or little the throttle is giving you.....at least motorcycles work this way..... I am fine with my truck, got the I dash to monitor for the info and regens ( pretty simple to do) but motor is fine for me......spayed the pods with a color match paint to make it look a bit more factory....
I have the Pedal Monster, I love mine it the others that have problems not theirs. My next mod with be the Cold Air Intake or the Cat Back Exhaust System i just needed to get some more money. I do at some point want to get the IDash and the tuner.
Haven't watched yet, please let it be the Derringer..... Well, crap. JD do us a favor and lean on Banks to get the Derringer released for the 2024 and 2025 L5Ps.
@@cameronyoung6402 maybe next time you visit the dealer, try to talk to the service manager and get an idea of their approach to that aspect, or if they or their GM is cool and mod their own vehicles. That could give some reassurance and also give you a name and face if one of the service writers ever gives you grief.
@@cameronyoung6402 - Never had a problem with parts that are CARB compliant. Both of our Ram trucks have Bank's parts. All recalls and warranty work without a problem.
Here’s something that a lot of people do not know and the people that do know do not release this information. If you work on GM vehicles all the time you know that GM has protection in the software in the ECM when exhaust gas temperatures exceed a certain temperature for a period of time the ECM will pull fuel and reduce power to lower exhaust gas temperatures automatically. So GM does not give that information because it already has protections in the software for that.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about the pedal monster and iDash parts. Pretty close to pulling the trigger on the boost tubes for my 2023 Cummins. As for the election, couldn’t be happier with the results. Honestly I tuned out for most of this campaign season, but the tone was certainly different this time around and I think that’s why Trump was able to reel in more votes from different demographics this go around. That said, anyone with a functioning brain should be able to look at turnout for 2020 and 2024 and wonder what exactly happened to ~13 million votes/voters.
Diesel owners need to understand you can do all the modifications in the world on the truck and it is still going to be slow, it's hard to push an 8,000 lb vehicle no matter how much horsepower and torque you got,
God Bless America....Amen. Keep up the good work buddy.

You will love the pedal monster! Absolutely awesome. 45. 47 baby !
Great video JB. Looking forward to the installation video.
I got it for my 2024 3.0L and love it. Gives you regen info that GM doesn’t.

You will like it and very easy install. The little bird said all the others goodies are dropping on black Friday.

All I got to say is. Hell yeah!!! 😃 By the way I also like your truck mods.
Keep up the good work. I appreciate your honesty in your work, awesome to see. God Bless America. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Trump baby!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Get the banks rear diff cover, oil pan, trans cover, banks intake which I think is a prototype right now
I like this guy even before he supported the orange man. Great channel keep up the great work.
Where’s the ram air and exhaust for the 24s? Been waiting all year
Amen sir. Time for him to get to work 🇺🇲
Ask your buddy When is the derringer coming? It’s been on there website as “coming soon” for the past year that I’ve owned my truck

How the $(&@ do they not show you the gear you are in!?
I been thinking about getting the banks intake horn for the Cummins but worried about my warranty
The Magnusson-Moss Act of 1974 protects you. Besides, if your engine ingests the grid heater bolt. The dealer will try to blame you!
@ yea that’s all good in theory until the dealer says they’re not gonna cover that under warranty when you take it in

What are your thoughts on Duramax in snow and cold weather? I’m in Montana and considering one!
They knew they couldnt cheat again without being called out
Thanks hat with the American shield logo bad ass
I would go with Edge over iDash
That’s called a unibit. It works like a drill bit but is for thin stuff and you choose what size hole you want
Thought it was a step bit
@@Credit87 I think both terms are correct, Unibit might be a brand name that became synonymous with that type of bit.
@ I have heard that term also.

I love the political insight and my bet is 80%+ of your audience does too. BTW, I completely agree with you on the politics.
Making diesels great again, Trump and Gale Banks!
