I myself skipped over the series and I gave it a try and if it wasn’t for Lauren and Cameron I probably wouldn’t have watched. Their connection was so genuine and I had to stop and pause to cry because the things he said to her I’ve never had a man say to me. Sister Lauren and Brother Cameron are an example of a biblical blessing and what love is all about loving someone for who they are and accepting them for who they are.

To be honest, they should've given more air time to Lauren and Cameron. I was not watching this show for the drama or Jessica, Kelly, Gianina or any of them. I straight up watched the show for Nick Lachey then stayed solely for Lauren and Cameron.
I think this is the most comfortable I have seen Cameron in an interview. I was starting to think that he was being dragged along on these press runs.

Many Mexicans (Arizona, Colo, *Southern Cali and Texas and Central Americans) have extreme colorism and inflated egos against darker skin, especially persons of African descent. Racial hierarchy of light skin does take precedence in Latin communities. Most of the men, do NOT encourage nor allow any relatives dating an African American, especially marrying one. But, unless he's well off, or their family is well cultured (has close friends or neighbors that are Black). Although, many of these same married and older Latino men, WILL definitely try to sleep with ALL types of women! I'm a proud multiracial Latina (ambiguous) I often get the side eye, from all kinds of women, whenever I'm passing through certain areas alone or accompanied by husband (mixed race). This couple is needed because black women need to be treated like the queens they are on a public platform. Politics aside, this is why I loved the Obama's, he loved Michelle so beautifully. Black women want to be loved, praised, accepted as the quirky, funny, nerdy, sweet, kind, loving, brave, and seen as smart too. We get disrespect everywhere. (Diamond and whats his name on this show) was a great example, he discussed her wig on national TV! What the heck. But Cameron is being praised because he is patient with her, sweet, kind, and awesome with Beautiful Lauren. She is seriously gorgeous and he knows what he's got!
Wow thats so true! You think black men feel entitled to insult Black women bc they’re the same ? I feel like if anything they need to protect them the most! Carlton calling diamond out on her wig hurt my soul. I'm not black , but im puerto rican and got that super curly hair, and curly girls always be over protective bc of all the microagressions that come with having our hair. If a man i was with insulted my hair like that, especially a man of my own ethnicity, it would hurt even more. I won't speak for all black men, but men like Carlton need to do better.
