Yet another awesome tutorial, I love the fact that you are explaining after why you did what you did and how it works! Keep up the great work! Can't wait for #5 :D
Hi, in the future we will make the camera smoother, now the camera is too sharp, if so, then it will be cool, thank you very much for such a wonderful lesson
What is it you're doing at 2:28? 'Add a multiply node then connect the pins as shown' how are you make the multiply show X Y and Z values?! You're converting it to something but what? I don't have the option to split struct pins from within the multiply node
What do you want to learn? Can you explain it more? Actually, procedural animations are so simple. You just move or rotate the bones with some variables. And we calculate these variables with some functions that get our speed, direction, and some other things about our character.
I cant get the movement and check if its equal to sprinting node at 7:29, it doesn't appear in the ABP_FirstPersonCharecter. The option to select sprinting only appears in the BP_FirstPerson. Please help!!!
The animations will work because the character we use will only be visible to the owner player. But you need to replicate the events (crouch, sprint, shooting, etc.), and you need to create a third-person mesh that will be visible to other players.
Unless you know what you're doing avoid multiplayer games until you hvtenough knowledge, multiplayer is difficult and given your answer you don't have the skills to undertake such a project. Start small grow big and not vice versa. My advice.
@@arcyys Don't worry home boy i learned more from your tutorials. Thank you and please keep uploading. Also a quick note I like how you explain every little detail in the blueprints
looks good so far!
edit: i like how concise you made everything, cant wait for part 5! :)
Thanks.
I love how everything is starting to come togheter
(everything looks good now, like it acctually looks like its the hands/weapon not the camera) it looks great
Thank you, bro. Yeah, we used almost everything we've created in the previous videos.

Thank you. I'm just trying to help you guys understand the logic behind events and effects.
You are doing a great job with that! :)
My friend, I have made progress so far in your education, you are great, I would be very grateful if you continue, you are the king :D
Thankyou so much for the great tutorial series, looking forward for more amazing video, BLESS YOU.
Awsome job again 👑👑
Thank you bro.
Working great. Other than my hands look like they’re broken, animations all work tho

We will add a weapon sway function. I think it will fix this problem.

Add a multiply node, then right click on to pin and select convert to vector.
@ Thank you! Great series btw!
Sorry, when will the 5th part be released?
In a few days.
Understood, thanks@@arcyys
I have this problem that my anim graph wont appear its just event graph
Click the anim graph on the left part. prnt.sc/KvuSTVXgTsqW
may i ask where do i learn more about Procedural Animations and first person movement?
thanks for your effort making these tutorials
btw i wanna make horror games

@@arcyys im going to dm u in discord if thats okay
@@iS3UD_ No problem.
2:32 my multiply node doesn't look like that and I can split it? I'm on 5.3
ok I figured it out change the multiply node to vector
No problem. If you have further questions, you can ask me.
its working perfect cant wait for the next video@@arcyys
You dropped this 👑
great
Thank you bro.
The sprint animation doesn't work for me i have tried to redo all this tutorial twice and it doesn't work someone help me..
did you figure it out ?
im having a similar issue with the sprint animations too
ive noticed if i double click the animation, there is no animation, but it works on the idle animation, so im guessing the sprint animation is busted
me too

The same thing I use the same thing
your content is fire man keep doing it, i have a question, what if i want to put my own character instead the one by default?
It will work without a problem.
Where did you get these animations from? Is there a pack to download them? Or buy them?
I made them.
Thank you for the comment. Don't forget to join our Discord server
Bro, where can we find animations?
There are links in the descriptions of each video.
Hi, will this scheme work for a multiplayer shooter at the moment I want to create a multiplayer shooter myself, thanks in advance for the answer❤

Hello, where did you do the animation?
I used blender and Mr Mannequin plugin. Thanks for the comment.
@@arcyys Thank you for your reply :D
can you upload the project plz ?
Maybe in the next videos. Thanks for the comment.
Why are you stealing tutorial content off of Octahedron
I’m not stealing, I’m just using his tutorials as a basis. And if you go and watch the first video of the series, I’ve talked about Octahedron.
