  • Hey yall! Hope yall are having a great week! In this video, you guys come with me through 3 shifts in a row! But I get real with you guys about how working nights have been affecting me mentally and physically. To sum it up, it's been a struggle.
I'll see you guys next week! :)

I love your hairstyle! I like the Olly vitamins too, but I agree they are pricey lol

Shift work is awful for your body and circadian rhythms. I always struggled with it when I worked in the unit. It was a little easier because we only had to do 2 weeks of nights in a 6 week schedule so I would just do 4 weeks days, 4 weeks nights (end of schedule/beginning of next) 4 weeks days and repeat like that. Might work better if you have that option. It's hard whether you're new or not. I don't think you ever really get used to rotating like that. When I was on permanent nights when I first started working, I would just stay on a night schedule all week and would just binge TV shows all night by myself. 0/10 - would not recommend. Blackout curtains are a must-have. If you eat right before you go to work and again around 1am and again right after you leave, but don't go to sleep til like 930 (if you can stay awake that long), that might work.
Good luck!! Just keep in mind, this doesn't have to be forever. You have your whole career ahead of you so the sky is the limit!!

Omg thank you so much! Yeah I’ve spent the past few weeks focusing on my routine. I felt like I was just too all over the place 😂😂. Unfortunately I don’t have the option to rotate, but I think I’ve FINALLY got a routine that works for me down. Very similar to what you said. I’ll make a video on it soon.
But like you said the biggest motivation is that it isn’t forever haha . 💀❤️❤️thank you for your support!

Hey jaylyn, are there nights where you have to leave suede home alone while at work?

Hey! Yes I leave him alone most nights! I have a camera in my place to watch him. But He is usually asleep at night anyway, so he doesn’t miss me much. Just make sure to give him lots of loving when I get home ❤️🐶
